Don't listen to any of the negative reviews. We've been using Happy House for years and they are consistently good with food quality and delivery times even on busy weekend periods.People forget how hard these business actually work and how difficult it is to maintain high levels of service.There is no such thing as a perfect service particularly when it comes to Chinese takeaway and delivery. There are some truly dreadful ones in the same vicinity. Happy House are very good by comparison.

Wee hidden gem, best Chinese shop I've been to and certainly the best Chinese takeout around this areaPortion sizes are very good compared to other shops, tasty and good value for money

First time using these guys today. Ordered via Uber eats and delivery time was estimated as 45 mins to an hour. We called after an hour and a half and were told they were very busy and apologised for the delay. We called after another half an hour and we're told it would be another 15 minutes. We voiced our unhappiness at this point and they weren't really that helpful and refused our request for a discount or credit on a future order.In total we waited for 2hrs 40 minutes for our food, and when it came the food was lukewarm. Mine was ok (sesame shredded chicken) but my partner wasn't best pleased with her sweet and sour.We won't be using them again and hope this review saves others from a disappointing takeaway!

Trying to call back tonight to complain but they are choosing not to answer my call, obvs my number comes up. Any way foned a chicken satay chow mein, it came after about 49 mins, it looks like half a portion and no sauce over the top of it .

First time we have had food from here and it was really good. Plenty of salt and chilli ribs and my husband enjoyed his mushroom foo yung . Would have been 5 stars if the chips had been crispier. Speedy delivery too.

I haven't used this takeaway this year, phoned tonight, very friendly girl on phone, I didn't know it was under new management. Am sorry to say it's the worse takeawy I have ever had, and won't be using them again

Seriously good!! Fried bean sprouts are the best I’ve ever had!! And the chicken noodle soup and chicken curry were amazing! Big love <3

terrible waited over an hour for delivery the guy on the phone could hardly speak english when food came was wrong order asked for mussels n black bean sauce got mushrooms n black bean sauce rest of food i ordered was freezing wont be getting from this shop again dreadfull.
