Olde House
We live and work in Devon, we love full-time in our Motorhome and stayed for four nights parked on their large carpark.We come over to visit family and it is the perfect spot for us.We love their fabulous breakfast and evening meals. The manager Julie and her husband always make us feel so welcome, the staff are lovely and professional.It's the best pub stopover we have been onThanks again for your hospitality we will be back

Staff are amazing here, really helpful and can't do enough for you... managers are very funny too. Rooms are clean and spacious, and have everything you need... beds are so comfy.Food is traditional pub menu, but don't be fooled by this... we ate here across two days covering breakfast, lunch and evening meal... and it was fabulous food. Everything was served fresh, piping hot and perfectly cooked. We were able to thank the chef (Russell) on our last morning as the breakfasts cooked by him are out of this world (I had an omelette with bacon, mushroom and cheese, and full English previously), this man can really cook...In general, this is just a really nice place to stay, and it's our 2nd visit. We will be back, and they even have entertainment on some nights too...Thank you all for being so Fab,Gina xxx

We got married here on Saturday 5th August 2023 and had the best day of our lives! Highly recommended for any couple searching for the right place to tie the knot!We had our whole wedding day here, starting with our ceremony in The Needham Room followed by our reception in The Mullen Suite. The whole day was very well organised and everything went to plan as we imagined. The food was amazing, we chose to have the hot cobs buffet for our main wedding meal (they also have the option to have a 2/3 course meal too) and it did not disappoint - extremely good value for money and included a large selection of food and high quality meat for our guests. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was. For our evening guests we chose to have the cold buffet, which again was amazing quality and value for money.We can't thank everyone enough at The Olde House for the exceptional service you gave us on our big day. Especially to Julie (manager) and Tracy (events manager) for everything you did for us such as calming our nerves before the ceremony and making sure everything was perfect for us - you were truly incredible.We highly recommend The Olde House for your wedding day, it is very affordable compared to most wedding venues and offers exceptional service - they make your wedding day exactly how you want it to be!Thank you again for making our day so special!

The service was excellent. The staff were rushed due to there being a wedding party who needed looking after. Despite that service was great and food was served hot and promptly. We also stayed the day after for breakfast and Kay was once again excellent and welcoming - served with a lot of attention! Would recommend without any hesitation

Booked in here for 1 night stay while in the area. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Room acceptable but some things need attention. No heating via radiators OR towel rail in bathroom. Quite thin duvet so felt a bit chilled. Nice large TV on wall opposite bed and great free WiFi. Walls quite thin so noisy from other rooms til quite late on. Had meal …. Wish I hadn’t …. Doubled up the chips for £1.25 as on menu but god help if I had not …. Would have got about half a dozen ! And the egg/tomato/pineapple (see photos) covered in ‘dregs’ from previous cooking I assume ….chef should NOT have presented it like that. Also, ordered sponge and icecream …. Came as sponge and custard (not much either for the cost). Large kingsize bed and spacious room. VERY noisy in the bar/dining areas. Overall will not be staying there if again in the area. Pay a bit more and get somewhere better ! SORRY Ye Olde House as staff were friendly.

The food is always incredible. The service is fast and very friendly. There is a lovely play area at the front and plenty of parking. This place will always be my first choice for a meal out with family or friends.

Very poor, been visiting off and on now for over 20 years due to the distance from my home....this venue has declined to the point that I won't be going anymore.....food is poor and expensive, service isn't consistent staff come and go.Feel this will be sold for land and houses built

Good AccommodationI have been using The Olde House for a number of years for accommodation when I am in the area. I was greeted by Paul who was really helpful and welcominng.There is a small car park near the accommodation building however the main customer car park is really big so plenty of parking.Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, breakfast was quick and very good.Another pleasent stay.

Attended an event here tonight with my Photo Booth and the vibe was amazing, staff couldn’t be more helpful and the food was amazing m. Would definitely recommend this venue x

The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was good quality and tasty everything came correctly and in a timely manner. The atmosphere was cheery and pleasant. A good time was had by all.
