I absolutely love visiting Flag Fen. There's so much history just under the soil. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend a visit.

Flag Fen Archaeology Park
Had a group visit around Flag Fen with a guide and also a talk from the preserver of the 3000 year old wooden boats. Really interesting. One of our group made some strange comments. I hope she didn't upset our guides. Everyone thought it was really informative and several of us were thinking of coming back as there was so much to see. Fantastic.

Friendly staff, nice food and gift store. Set out really well with good information about each exhibit. Would recommend for family entertainment.

I put this on my run sheet, as anything pre-Roman is hard to find in the UK, but we know it was busy place.There is preserved evidence of a wooden fence line that indicated grazing and settlement happened here 4000 years ago.Not a great deal to see- and roads around Peterborough are difficult.

Flag Fen Archaeology Park
Visited today with my 8 year old grandson. Knowing how quickly he loses interest in things, I expected our visit to last around an hour. We stayed for 2 1/2 hours and could have stayed longer. Very interesting trip. Thankfully, I bought us both an annual ticket. I'm sure it will be well used. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
