Chapel of Our Lady of Reconciliation
A modern chapel on the grounds of an ancient pilgrimage site. We were there toward the end of the day and the chapel was quite dark, but other than that, a simple chapel.

Chapel of Our Lady of Reconciliation
The Chapel of Our Lady of Reconciliation was built in 1982 in the grounds of the Slipper Chapel at Houghton, St Giles. When built, it was one of the largest 20th century churches in East Anglia. It was built in a Norfolk vernacular style to accomodate the thousands of pilgrims who make their way here each weekend in Summer. Even then, it is not always big enough. The Shrine attracts some 150,000 pilgrims during the pilgrimage season with not just Catholics but people from other faiths too. This chapel alongwith the Slipper Chapel serves as the final 'station' for the pilgrims on their way to the Shrine of Walsingham.
