The Dental Practice at Dronfield Woodhouse

I have been going to The Dental Practice since the start of the year. After 43 years in a NHS dentist I felt I needed a better service and understanding.Feeling apprehensive, I needn't have worried. Dr Matt Cooper is brilliant. He put me at ease instantly, listens, is understanding and amazing at what he does.The practices receptionist, Sue, is also very professional and friendly.Best move I made. Thank you!

I visited today as I chipped my tooth following a fall at the weekend. I was really upset about it but Gareth and his team were absolutely fantastic. After a thorough examination and advice they have managed to repair the tooth and have done an incredible job ( you can't even see the repair). I did not feel pressured or rushed to have the work done . Would definitely recommend. Thankyou so much for giving me my smile back

Excellent practice, all staff make you feel at ease starting with Sue on reception, Gareth, Karen and Nicola hygienist, always professional good at what they do. I have been a patient for over 40 years. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you all for looking after my far from perfect teeth so well. Good luck to all.

Always feel confident with the care I get from this practice. Not many people like to visit the dentist, but Gareth Doody always puts you at your ease, explains what he's doing and provides lots of reassurance for the nervous patient.

First visit and could not be more impressed. The dentist looking after me and nurse are lovely and explained everything and was given a clear treatment plan with options. Definitely be my dentist from now on.

Everyone is so friendly, so different from dental practices of the past. If going to the dentist could ever be described as a pleasant experience in relaxing surroundings this is it!

I have been attending since Gareth's father qualified and joined the practice! It's great that his son has taken over with the same ethos for care. It's always nice to see the same staff when attending for appointments. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It is a modern surgery with up to date technology. You can feel confident that you are getting the best care and advice from all staff.

Always excellent service, have been attending here for over 30 years now, before it was private, but wouldn't go anywhere else. I trust their advise and treatment and know what ever is advised is required. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the practice.

From the moment you walk in to the practice, you feel at ease. All the staff are most welcoming and you sense this is a team.My last visit was an unscheduled appointment. Gareth clearly explained my tooth issue and gave me several options for treatment along with the pro's and con's of each. I was then able to decide on what I wanted him to do, there and then. The procedure, although prolonged went ahead uneventfully and at every opportunity, he clearly explained what he had done so far and what he had to do next. Most importantly, the procedure was painless and his assistant adjusted the TV, so that I did not see repeats of the same programme!A week later, Gareth telephoned me to ask how things were. I was pleased to tell him, I had no pain and that I was impressed with the way I was looked after, from the initial phone call requesting an appointment, the calming atmosphere in the surgery and his surgical expertise.

Been a user of this practice for many years both when living nearby and still using it now having moved some distance away.Always a friendly reception and the dentist instills a sense of confidence that the latest treatments and materials will be available.Very happy with the practice
