Always amazes me that so many locals dont realise how lucky they are to have such a fantastic stretch of beach right on their doorstep , it stretches from the Don to the Dee and has a 2km boardwalk with views north towards Peterhead and south to Girdleness lighthouse, theres plenty of places to eat after enjoyong the walk alongside the sea , the southern end runs into Fittie or Footdee
