This place was a great find on a weekend. It’s hard to find cafe’s open for food. The location has beautiful window views. I loved looking at the birds on the bird feeder outside. The shop has a bunch of really fun items for purchase. The food was wonderful! We all enjoyed our sandwiches and soups. The shop owner was so kind and created a fun environment. Would love to go here again, you should check them out!

Great full Scottish, both meaty and veggie one, cute pets on the property and awesome shop overall. We lucked out showing up at opening time without booking on Sunday (they ask to book in advance for Sundays), had a great table at the window with stunning view. Will come back when we're in the area again.

Great views, good menu and tasty homemade food. The dog wasn’t allowed in as it’s also a gift shop but not an issue as there was parking at the rear. Gentleman serving/owner didn’t have much enthusiasm for customers so did lack a bit of atmosphere and cheer but the food was lovely and we took some take away deserts.Google seems to be wrong when it says closed as it was open when we visited despite the google status.

We have visited many lovely, welcoming cafes and coffee shops on our trip and unfortunately this one did not live up to expectations. Lots of signs on the road pointing out the cafe, but when we arrived there was a sign saying no walk-ins on a Sunday and the staff said they would not serve us coffee despite it not being that busy. Propose you consider adding the information to the signs on the road so people to save people the detour on a Sunday!

Lovely salads (chicken, ham and prawn) topped off with delicious home made bread and butter, also burgers with all the trimmings. Lovely setting looking out on to the garden bird feeders, and down to Aultbea village. Great service, and nice atmosphere. Lots of lovely gifts in the gift shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the lovely setting, and prompt service with a smile and a joke. We will be back. Our friends from the Netherlands enjoyed the food and lovely homely atmosphere - nothing was any trouble. Our friends were enchanted with the lovely Scottish cushions and couldn’t leave without buying two. Lots of lovely knitwear also.

Found this lovely little cafe today as we were driving around with no plans. The friendly owners do the hosting and the cooking. oh and a very cute little doggy keeps an eye on the place. I had the prawn sandwich on homemade bread and it was the best bread I had eaten in a long time, my husband had a panini which he enjoyed. We then forced in a slice of Lemon and Lime cheesecake each which was absolutely beautiful.Don't know if we will ever come this way again but if we do we will be back
