Ordered a chicken jalfrezi, I thought they'd made a mistake and delivered a vegetarian curry by mistake as it had no chicken! Called to tell them of their mistake and the owner told me it did have chicken and he had made it himself. On close inspection turning it over again and again it did have 2 or 3 small pieces of chicken. I've ordered chicken jalfrezi from many decent Indian takeaways and never had this before. total joke. Surprised this place doesn't sell a single grain of rice as a portion of rice well there was rice there

Quite simply my favourite curry house in the world! I adore curry and have spent over a year in Asia eating local food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But the Eastern Eye is the best western curry you can get bar none. I can't wait for my next one!

Eastern Eye is a first class Indian takeaway. The chefs Sam & Ain are top class . When it comes to cooking Indian food. What I like is walking into the premises. Then watching 6ft away. Sam & Ain cooking right in front of you. A top quality of food and taste and flavour. I would highly recommend this Indian takeaway. Also the friendly welcome and the atmosphere. Which makes it feel like a family event.

Fantastic food. Family run. I've used this place as a restaurant and takeaway for the past 15 years and NEVER had a bad meal! Very friendly staff. The owner is a fantastic guy who still works in the kitchen at times. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only drawback is that it's only a takeaway now but still remains the best Indian takeaway in Bournemouth in my opinion.

Really tasty food. We ordered 6 curries and they were all great. The chicken was lovely and tender in all of our dishes. Fantastic!

Absolutely by far ..... the BEST INDIAN TAKE AWAY IN TOWN!! We have been loyal customers for over 15 years wouldn't go anyway else. Really lovely family run business.. Delicious authentic cuisine..

Beware!Placed an order online at 5.04pm, just after they opened.Received email confirmation that they'd got the order and I should receive a second email with ETA.No second email received (checked spam).Can't get through on phone - have tried seven or eight times and just left the thing ringing.No reply to follow up emails either.Now almost 2 hours later I assume they're not cooking for me.I do however see a pending charge on my credit card.

The best Indian takeaway in town. It’s a real shame they are closing due to retirement. Good luck for the future. You will be missed.
