Very rude staff. I took a pair of shoes to be repaired, was asked to pay upfront, and then asked to pay again when I collected them. I explained that I had paid already, and showed them the ticket I had been given, and was told that it did not indicate that I had paid. I eventually paid twice, and I did not even receive a thank you when I handed the money over.

Disgusting service from very rude staff. I'm not one to complain or write a review however I felt the need to after the terrible experience using Perrin's Shoe Clinic. I went in to collect my shoes and make a complaint (he was closed during working hours when I was told it would be ok to come in) and was immediately met by the aggressive owner screaming at me...I had to repeatedly ask him to stop shouting at me, so that I could explain the situation....he told me he didn't care that he had left early and that I wasn't able to collect my shoes and that he didn't care about his customers. I would have loved to give this 0 stars but that wasn't possible....Avoid like the plague!

New owner since the negative reviews. I've just collected shoes repaired impeccably & received courteous & efficient service. Thoroughly recommended.

I am actually very pleased with both the service and the quality of repair. Dropped off my leather boots that were falling apart and collected them the next day looking new. The owner also gifted me two pairs of shoelaces which I thought was very kind. Fast and efficient no nonsense service and high quality of repair.

dishonest and rude. Such a shame but don't go there. needed 2 rivets. Charged £6.50. Told me it was a minimum charge. A few days before charged £1.50 per rivet. Is this dishonest or what? Not only that but did it wrong. While i was in there he also charged someone else £6.00 for a shoe repair he hhad got wrong and had earlier charged £4 for.

I’m disappointed in myself for not trusting the previous negative reviews. This place, though conveniently placed, is run by impolite staff who take advantage of a well to do area by overcharging and not delivering quality. I had given them business on two occasions and both massively disappointing. The first was a bag repair and recolouring which they promised would not stain my clothes... wrong. Also awful stitching. The second was a very simple stitching of a shoe. Shouldn’t have costed more than £5. They told me £7, but charged my card £10 and wrote that on the pick up card. Only later did I notice and when I brought it up with the man working (who was the same who overcharged me), he was *incredibly* impolite and spitefully gave me £2.50 back. As if the last £0.50 was just to purposefully annoy me instead of EASILY apologizing for the mistake, saying it should have been ten but honouring the price that was quoted just days ago.Save yourself the trouble — I could tolerate the rudeness if they were at least good at what they did.

Very Rude, dishonest and horrible. Never go to this place! I took a pair of black suede shoes to fix the heel and also to be painted. They painted my shoes blue and then shouted at me and called me a liar. He threw the shoes to my face. It was obvious that he knew he made a mistake and got very angry when i confronted him that it was black. Not worth a penny or your time. Don’t go!

Keys didn't work, like many other reviews on here it seems others have had a similar experience. Owner rude and shouting at me, told me that's just how he is when I asked him not to shout, wouldnt refund then refused to do anything to fix the keys and threw them back at me. Very over priced and horrendous service, avoid!

Dishonest and rude - charged twice for a simple shoe repair. My landlady has lived in Hampstead for 30 years and decided to try the shoe clinic out. She was charged once sending the shoes in and I was made to pay again when collecting the shoes. I asked to see the receipts to check again but they say they throw all receipts away as they are not a bank. Do not use them!

Took my shoes in to be stretched right before the holiday weekend; job was done well, on time, and for a good price. Very friendly service too.
