Self Made Tattoo

I went to great yarmouth on holiday here in July 2023 got my navel pierced the woman pierced was really rude,she completely pierced my belly button wrong as i went to a piercer in my home town and they told me she had pierced my belly button to close to the edge the skin between the belly bar and the front of my stomach was ridiculously thin therefore resulted in it getting infected and the skin that’s was thin completely snapped in half and i now have to live with that as a scar because she had pierced it wrong i certainly would not go here for a piercing

Managed to get a walk in appoitment for my first tattoo whilst visiting the area. Great service from everyone I had contact with. The team of artists are very friendly, and listen to what it is you want and give great advice. I would use them again for future tattoos when back in the area.

Went in for a nipple piercing, was told they couldn’t do it as my nipple was to small. When back to home town checked with my local piercer who pierced no problem and half the price. Not convinced of their experience

My partner and I went in yesterday for our first tattoo's. We were walk-ins and originally they had told us they only had space for one of us so my partner booked his, and while we were waiting we went to find another place that could do mine. We then came back to the shop and the artist had actually drawn a design for me off his own back and said they'll be able to do it. We both ended up getting our tattoos and quite honestly they are perfect. Their customer service was brilliant and they made us feel so comfortable while getting it done. Thank you to our artist for doing such an amazing job!!

So I've never written a review before, but I wanted to leave a review for River, who goes out of their way to make every tattoo experience safe and comfortable. I'm autistic and find even leaving the house really hard, and River accommodates and lets me know what they're doing at all times, is so friendly and kind, and doesn't mind any weird quirks I have to do to stay feeling okay and good. Also, it's just amazing to have a nonbinary tattoo artist, it just makes the whole studio feel so welcoming and I know I'm safe there. Shout out to the whole Self Made team, for making every visit less stressful, and especially to River, who I cannot thank enough for their kindness. :)

Lovely artists I've had a couple done by a few of them and they are all friendly and make you feel very comfortable and I'm very pleased with my ink.

My wife & I both had tattoos done here, we stopped by as they opened & waited to be seen. The receptionist was very nice & helpful. Daniel did both of our tattoos & he was very experienced & gentle. I am very happy with the appearance of our tattoos. I would definitely recommend Self Made Tattoo & I look forward to getting another tattoo, next time I visit Great Yarmouth.

Our daughter had her nose pierced in oct for her 14th birthday. What a great experience very friendly people and it was done in a flash good price to. Keep up the good work

Great tattoo artists, great designs, best tattooists in Great Yarmouth highly recommended very clean and sterile. Can walk in for appointments but need to get in early 10.30/11.00 am places go quick and can book appointments for larger work get quotes.
