It is our favourite place for a freshly cooked traditional breakfast which is also great value for money. Table service is provided by James and his cheery team. A great way to start a day

Should have taken a photo, but will give it another chance. Had fish and chips and a pint of Ts. 9 quid. Superb pricing ! Fair play! Will come here again and again as I just moved to Shawlands. But, that lovely piece of cod, why did the chef destroy it by overcooking it to biscuit mode ? And why only two tea spoons of mushy peas ? And why only 14 chips? I literally counted them! And what's with the McDonalds paper tiny pots of tartar sauce? And no lemon, that's it! It kicked off there, I had to do the review!! The photo on the menu looks lovely, why not respecting that guys ? I'll give the menu (food options) including the pints choice 5 star. I'll give the sad, robotic guy who served me 3 stars. He was just as dry as the fish. And I'll give the ambiance and the pub set out 4 stars!! Will be in there at least 3 nights a week for pub&grub!

Lovely Thursday afternoon trip to the tassie. Carly had the place running smoothly chatting away to myself and other customers. Fresh pint of strong bow and the cheapest prices I've seen since moving to Glasgow. The atmosphere was great was clearly busy but ran so well it didnt feel like it. James and Amy brought so much life to the bar with their great friendly attitude and attentiveness. Well worth the visit

Brilliant pub! Always has a great atmosphere and all the staff are extremely friendly. Great range of food and drinks. Lots of TVs to watch all sports

Great family friendly place to eat, I was in for lunch yesterday with my young nephew, Mitchel was very good helping making sure he got the food he wanted the way he likes it as he is autistic and struggles if it’s not right, my nephew quite enjoy’s watching the various sports on the TVs around the pub which are a good distraction when he’s eating, Mitchel was also very patient with my nephew when he took a shine to him and started chatting away to him as he brought the food over.

Visited today for the first time in ages. What an improvement! Manager, Carly is a revelation. Totally customer focused. She was chatty & very attentive. Highly recommend the pub. See you again soon

Thought I would try here for a change with my mum and children. It was lovely outside so we wanted to sit near the front but away from the smokers outside, We picket a table which was behind a partition and you can still see outside. As we went to sit the man from behind the bar shouted can you find another table they're dirty" (It only needed a wipe!) So we found a table at the back Order our meals at the bar sat back down

Just came home from a late lunch here. The atmosphere had such a great buzz. The girl Carly was amazing she helped with food choices and made sure we were having a good time, trying new drinks. I will be back very soon. thanks for a lovely afternoon.
