I hired Bird to dig the foundations for a single-story rear extension and patio to include relocating drains. When the team arrived at my home the first thing they unloaded from their truck was a broom. Whenever deliveries arrived or soil was removed, they swept the street. My neighbours were quick to comment on how tidy and efficient they were. Their no-nonsense, professional attitude transferred to the work they carried out too. When decisions needed to be made, their experience and confidence made it easy for me to either exercise choice or leave them to make the right judgement. They coordinated deliveries without my involvement and manoeuvred excavated soil around the restricted site efficiently to enable work to continue at pace. We provided them access to a downstairs toilet, not that you’d have known because they were diligent about making sure they didn’t bring any dirt from the outside in. The team were pleasant to have around, they completed the work exactly as described and on budget. I highly recommend them.
