Find a Local Gardener

Originally, when scheduling a gardener, they offered a package which was a discounted rate having a gardener every 2 weeks for X months. As we had previous issues with gardeners showing up on time (arriving 1-2 weeks late) I just told them I will pay after every visit. Gardener arrives the 11th to mow the lawn, I receive the invoice and pay right away and Find a Local Gardener is notified that payment has been sent using the format they requested to the bank details they provided. We then ask if we need to schedule another appointment for 2 weeks from now and they said no a gardener will automatically be arranged. Fast forward 3 weeks, still no gardener and they are saying we need to pay them today or they will charge us late fees for the previous appointment. I tell them it has already been sent on the 11th so could they verify the bank details that it was sent to (I provided a picture). They ignore my message and ask for my name. I provide my name and invoice number and they read it and they don't reply. I reach out again with a long message asking them to either double check and confirm they received it or verify their bank details as I asked and they just reply we have it thanks." Not sure if they were just wanting a double payment as they acknowledged the payment on the 11th and still asked us to pay again today. Extremely unprofessional

Ben visited us today and did a great job in tidying up the lawn front and back, trimming the borders and around the pond. Highly likeable and professional job. Recommended.

I contacted Find A Local Gardener through the form on their website to find someone to help with the bigger jobs in my garden which I struggle with. A lady contacted me from the company very quickly and arranged for a gardener to attend at the time I had asked for. The gardener was a young man who was very pleasant, friendly and, most importantly, he was on time. He did a great job with tidying up the conifers and hedges around my garden and left the garden nice and tidy. He even ran a lawn mower around the garden to make sure there weren’t any bits and pieces left on the lawn. I am so pleased with how good my garden looks now! The work was done quickly, with no fuss and the charge was reasonable. I can certainly recommend this company and will be doing so to my friends and family. My elderly Mum’s garden was looking pretty sorry for itself after being left all summer, so it was very over grown. We asked Find A Local Gardener if they could help her once a month to keep on top of the gardening jobs and we found them very easy and pleasant to deal with. Not to mention great value, too! They organised a gardener for us within 2 days of our email message to them and a lady named Samantha came with shears, lawn mower and strimmer and made short work of getting the garden back under control. The garden was bad and took her a day to clear, then she came back the next day to make it look beautiful. We couldn’t believe it was the same garden! My Mum was absolutely delighted and will be having Samantha visit every month to keep the garden tidy. I would highly recommend Find A Local Gardener to anyone needing a talented, friendly gardener.

From start to finish it only took a week to get them to come out and see what I wanted and get it completed. It was value for money and Graham did a really good job. I can't recommend them enough.
