Saxby's Cider farm only (shop at Chester House Estate)

Came for the pumpkin picking! Great set up with lots of pumpkins in a few different varieties. Also had a cider bar with mulled and cold ciders, hot drinks, cakes, hot doughnuts and a BBQ trailer plus covered seating. Hook and duck and a little ride for toddlers plus air ambulance and a cider stall to buy stuff. Nicely decorated, good parking and friendly staff. All in all a really good pumpkin picking experience. Enough to do for the two hour slot and pumpkin prices were really reasonable. I went with my nieces and I'd go again next year if I was going with small kids again. It was great for them, especially with the timed entry.If I was just going with my husband I'd go somewhere quieter that has more space to avoid kids and we could stay longer than two hours.

My wife and I visited the Saxby Shop in Chester House back in November 2021 when we first moved to Higham and were treated so well by a lovely lady - that when we saw the Friday Night Soiree advertised, decided to meet our friends from Milton Keynes there.What a cracking night! The organisers and staff worked so hard at serving the scrummy cider and went the extra mile to make sure everybody was happy, the background music was great.The two guys on the food truck 'Hyderabadi Dhaba' cooked amazing food and all four of us had 'Mixed Grills' at £14.50 per meal - good value, well presented and delicious.Met a lot of local people from Irchester and surrounding areas and found them to be very hospitable and friendly.Thanks everyone - now subscribed for upcoming events and goes without saying drinking Saxby Cider!

Went on the cider tour which was great. Have been back for food night which was also really enjoyable. Would recommend.

Great place to pick your own pumpkins and not too expensive. Food and drink options available on site and small rides for the kids, all in all a good day out :)

Great day on the Saxby's cider tour. A must book! Very interesting and friendly welcome! Even had a tractor ride to the orchard.

I came to Chester House for a conference and saw the cider shop. I popped in and bought a 3 litre (5.25 pint) box of original Saxby's cider. It's delicious!

It's a great venue. My son had his wedding reception here and it was the best day! Amanda is wonderful. I would recommend very highly.

Been on the cider tour and we taken our daughter to the pumpkin pyo today. Very impressed with both days out. They are super friendly and the cider tastes dam good too. What more can you ask for...

Went on one of the cider tours that I had received as a xmas present - very impressed! A very pleasant experience - shown around and given a detailed (and quite amusing) background to the founding and development of the cider part of the business. Tasting offered at the end of the tour but declined due to driving but instead received fresh apple juice that was superb. No hesitation in recommending the tour or visit for a drink (or even both!!).
