I wanted a taster course in throwing to see if it was like riding a bicycle; I threw pots over 60 years ago.The 4 weekly beginner classes were ideal and reasonable - free clay, a biscuit and then glaze firing.Jago Poynter, the teacher, imparts the basic skills with lots of positive feedback.And it's not like riding a bicycle but more like returning to a foreign language you haven't used for a long time

Pottery classes are excellent. The studio is bright and has good facilities. The teachers are friendly, providing demonstrations and offering help as requiredI have done a few courses and would happily recommend Ceramics Classes London

I’ve really enjoyed my ceramics classes so far and have signed up for a second course. Zoe gives pupils individual attention and guidance, and is very patient with beginners!

Thoroughly enjoying my workshop sessions and learning different techniques! Zoe and the teachers are patient, friendly and it is great to have all the pieces I have created at the end. I will continue to attend workshops and learn! Super fun and engaging!

Spent 4 Friday mornings learning to throw pots, make a thumb-pot and best of all for me, making a Flower brick!All processes were patiently explained; help was given when necessary and Zoe is an excellent teacher. We learnt about glazing items and finishing off our work ready for firing.To say I am thrilled with my Flower Brick (origin in C17) is understatement! Thanks to Zoe for helping me create it.Such a Brilliant pottery course for a complete novice.

Had a lovely 1 week intense course there, got a lot of opportunities and time to explore what I want to do. Very encouraging teachers. Good quality teaching materials.However, teachers are varied so as their teaching methods and specialties.Also, if there’s any deeper and more educational course, it would be even better!

I had the opportunity to experience different techniques and different teachers, and had the best time in every occasion! Zoë, the owner is so lovely, she has been super helpful and welcoming. Also special mention to Sarah for her amazing teaching of throwing. She is so caring and supportive! I would definitely recommend anyone to go there for a course.
