Terry's Carpets

This place is a gem. The array of carpets is phenomenal and the chap who owns it (Terry?) Knows what he's talking about after 53 years in the business! Rating is based on a trip to the shop, customer service and courtesy, carpet yet to be delivered and fitted but I am super confident it will be a great job. Definately recommended.

The staff at this store are exceptional. Great advice, friendly manner, nothing to much trouble! Priced competitively too. Get yourself along there as a great selection of colours/textures and quality preference.

Dealing with these people proved a very disappointing experience. I was in a bit of a hurry so didn't query paying the full cost in advance despite some misgivings. However when I encountered a problem at home and wanted to postpone fitting for a week or so I was shocked to be asked for a £20 fee. Apparently this is company policy". So much for customer service which

Would not recommend. Paid for new door plates, 1 full length and 2 short, and after fitting found the fitter had reused the old and kept the new. Also he decided not to remove and refit the door stops, just carpet over the top! Nothing can be done now as everything was glued down. What a waste. Disappointed doesn't come close.

Payed £1149.98 for bed and mattress. Staff in shop don’t give you all the important stuff. BUT the mattress is sprayed with strong chemicalBeen told to strip bed daily for 2 weeks.The chemical takes my breath away and am struggling so can’t sleep on itBensons not interested ATAll

I was 100% sure after being recommended to me that I would use Terry's to carpet my new build 3 bed house....However, as they didn't have the carpet I wanted, I asked for the measurements and they flat out refused to give me them so that I could source my own carpet and have them fit it. Was pretty shocked to be fair as I had absolutely no intention of going elsewhere, but could not go with them after them being so unhelpful. Be prepared to sacrifice what you actually want when using Terry's. It's their way or no way.

A short thin guy, white English but slightly tanned, looks like he is in his late 40s or early 50s (did not catch his name) came round to fit my carpet, he had the worse attitude i believe i have ever seen, ordering me, a paying customer, to help him lift the carpet from the company van to inside my house, then ordering me to fit the gripper rods myself while he went to another customers property, and to top it off when he returned to fit the carpet he said go to the shop and get me a can of pop

Really disappointed with this company, my mother in law has paid a fortune for a new carpet in the front room and dinning room. Carpet in fairness looks great, however the service left my mother in law in tears and very expensive TV surround sound wires all cut in two. Not only this but they broke a small peice of furniture and when these issues were brought up with the fitter he threw his fitting equipment on the floor and stormed out of the house stating that he would do no more work. It was left to his work partner to state that he does this all the time and he acts that way with everyone?????. Shocking service, expensive and made the whole process unbearable for the amount of money it cost.

Absolute joke of a company and the staff are liars. Avoid at all costs!Got told my kitchen floor would be fitted between 8 and 1 and still no sign of anyone at 1.30. Rang to see where they were and apparently they had been knocking on the door for 15 mins. Are they thick? Do they think I'm stupid? My house is only small you can hear someone knocking from in the back yard. Absolutely no chance was there anyone at my door at any time today except the postman. Absolutely raging. Wasted my day waiting in, confined to my bedroom with my one year old daughter as we can't move downstairs due to all kitchen furniture having to be moved into front room. They now say they won't fit my floor for another 2 days. Pathetic.

Brilliant prices fitters are the best leana at cleverly branch it brilliant always a pleasure to deal with them carpet range is good for choice she is plesent and very helpful had many carpetsuppliers over the years
