Great service and once again top quality job

We took our car in for an MOT and from the start of the drop off we were met with rude service. The guy we dropped out car off with seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else but having to deal with us. When we then got call to advise what needing fixing the lady on the phone was so rude, saying that everything they priced us for was needed for MOT. We had no issue with cost as if its needed then it's needed. More at the way they feel they can talk to customers who chose them.We then asked for a CB to see if we could get car fixed that day as needed car for work. When we were forced to CB after no-one called us we were again greeted with a rude person on the phone talking down to us.We have used Marshalls for a couple of years but after this experience we will not be back. Out of all the things we all need to deal with in our daily lives, I cannot abide rude people and bad customer service.

Completed an unauthorised repair on my car and charged me £50 labour for the removal of the partI asked them to replace my windscreen wiper motor, and they bought a new part for £300; second hand parts sold online for around £25. Despite asking several times for a quote on the price of the job, they did the work anyway.They called back to tell me the work was done, but I said that I didn’t agree to it. I was asked to pay £379 for the job, which was too way too highThey tried to rope me into their payment plan to pay for the work, but I refused and asked them to remove the part. I was told I’d need to pay for the ‘work’The staff were hostile and unwilling to accept responsibility. I advise anyone to look elsewhere- this is not a professional business

Nightmare experience with this garage, put my van in for a new part and MOT, lots of hassle where they ordered the wrong part, eventually picked up van and next day when I removed ladder I noticed the roof rack was crushed into my van roof, went to the garage and the owner denied it happened there. He actually had the cheek to say I might have had a large pallet of bricks on the roof( I’m a painter) . I Got advice from other garages who said it was caused by van being lifted on hydraulic lift too high hitting something. After a week of denial the owner finally admitted he suspects one of his young mechanics may have done it and not told him, he showed me the lift area with a large beam above it . I couldnt prove he caused it or afford a court claim as a sole trader but I now have problems with rattling and banging noises from under my van which I suspect is damage from the crushing incident as well as the crushed roof and will be suing

Had my van in with Ian to have it mot and have new handbrake cables and few other bits done dropped the van off and it was ready for lunchtime new parts all fitted and new mot I always use this garage won't go anywhere else

Needed an MOT done. They only have drop it off and we will get round to it some time today appointments.MOT as you wait can’t be done here!
