Just spent a week in the lakes on holiday. And stumbled upon this place. So happy I did. The staff here are amazing and so helpful and pleasant. The building itself has been there since 1640 and a tea room since 1800 and something. It is a stunning building full of charm and history. The tea and coffee are exceptional along with the home cooked baking along with all the food they have on offer. We went there twice a day every we were there. Go there, you will not be disappointed at all.

I order online for delivery and it's great coffee (my favourite is number one blend). Always a good selection of coffees from around the world and all priced really well. Customer service dept is also quick to respond and resolve any queries.

2 takeaway teas £5. Seriously over priced for standard tea. Cafe 100 yards away, £1.20 a proper cup and saucer and pot of tea with table service. Farrers have lost my custom after being a loyal customer for a number of years. Times are hard for businesses I know but losing them by way over pricing isn't going to bring them back through the door

Very cute collection of tea and coffee mugs, pot and all essentials. They also provides a wide range of tea including decaf options with a reasonable price. A must go if you visit Kendal.
