Deanies Fish & Chips

Went here Sunday night. I have never ever left a bad review on a business page but I feel I have to leave a review as this place needs to know how bad it is or there will be no return customers. Improvements on the food have to be made. I Had chips, battered sausage & gravy. I’m sure The chips were microwaved, ( warm soggy and mostly raw potato) they were disgusting and stunk I was starving after swimming but I could only eat a few that were smothered in gravy (the gravy was the only nice part) the sausage looked a week old and did not taste good. Usually the sausages in chip shops are on display in the heated display cabinets on the counter but there were no battered sausages in theres when I went in so mine must have been brought from out the back. No wonder it wasn’t on display it looked off.I can only presume the 5 star reviews are from the owner.I really hope the owner takes notice of this review and sorts this out otherwise they won’t be selling chips in 6 months

Waited over and hour and twenty minutes for my order ! The chips were hard , the curry was brown and I first thought it was gravy. The salad on the chicken burger consisted of a few strands of lettuce (what happened to the cucumber, tomatoes and onion?) I don’t use chip shops very often and will not be returning.

Really good fish and chips, the curry sauce has a nice little kick to it that you don't usually get with chip shop curry sauce. Highly recommended.

One of the best fish & chip shops I have visited, great staff, very clean shop.The fish and chips and curry were gorgeous and I good portion size, also brilliant price at £5.

The best fish and chips I have ever had , I had curry sauce with mine which is no ordinary curry sauce its unique with a nice spice to it , will be back for sure .

Absolutely amazing fish and chips !!!Loved the fact that the fish was greasy like most places are and the chips were brilliant will definitely be buying again, new favourite fish and chip shop !!!!!

Came in this evening whilst on shift after looking for ages for a chippy open on a Sunday, the ladies behind the till were lovely! The food is spot on too, especially for the price! Will deffo be recommended in the future! Thanks ladies two very happy and fed carers :)

Cold and i mean not even warm chips. Curry sauce was warming the chips up. Sort it out!! And we got them from the shop it self, so you can't even blame it on a delivery wait.
