Expensive and terrible service. Just been one month with them and already had 2 major disruptions. First due to the accounts department messing with the payments, which seems a common issue. Second time whole neighbourhood was disconnected for almost 24 hours. I have been with 5 different providers before and never experienced anything like this.Update: 7 months after joining we keep having issues almost every other week. Run away as far as you can from this companyUpdate2: finally ended my contract and switched to talktalk. Better, faster and cheaper!

Expensive and poor, unreliable service. Shame other network providers don’t accommodate Wembley Park

They are frikin brilliant. I was with them for a year and then took on some offers from other broadbands that did not even match the speed and basic household needs (Wembley Park). Switched back to Velocity and it’s brilliant. Also staff are extremely helpful and nice, shout out to you Lee, thanks for the help and patience.

The Velocity1 seems the default choice if you are living in the apartment managed by Quintain Living (formerly Tipi) around Wembley Park. I used its service for 3 years, but I really do NOT recommend their service, unless they could significantly improve their network quality. It is probably because more and more people moved around Wembley Park, but they can not expand their capacity timely. so for couple of months, I found my network became quite strange, and my broadband speed dropped to only 10% of what I paid for (tested using the tool suggested by their technical support). After complaining to technical support for several times, they released my speed can reach up to 30%-50% of what they promised. So if you need to pay two or three times to reach the speed of what it should be, I simply do NOT understand how does some people in this page below feel the service is good and reviews are so high.

Genuinely the worst WiFi provider that I have ever used. If you live in Wembley Park, do not use them. You're better off having WiFi that's powered by a hamster running on a wheel.EDIT:I've had 4 separate emails in the space of less than 24 hours to apologise for poor internet connectivity. I genuinely haven't been able to rely on the internet and have been using my mobile data because all of my devices connect/disconnect from the WiFi every 2 seconds. How is this even acceptable?

Since the company moved the offices to London the service has improved 1000 times and the internet works great

Has taken over a week for them to finally cancel our rolling contract, despite us giving them notice exactly as they requested. Instead they continually promised to send out an engineer that never turned up.They don’t listen to a thing you’re saying, and they consistently dance around the problem. Now they have the cheek to charge us full price for the time we were on the package, when we couldn’t receive the advertised speeds once, and we almost never had a stable connection. The best alternative they could give us was to use the Wembley Park Free WiFi during outages. If I was going to do that, why are we still paying money to you?Goodbye Velocity1. General advice for anyone in a tipi property like us- they won’t tell you, but you aren’t tied to this terrible service.

If there was a negative rating, I would not hesitate to give -5.Absolute trash. Their routers cannot accept more than 2 devices on most cases and all the devices will be stuck with at Obtaining IP address".Speed is unreliable and outages are common."

Terrible service (via quintain living @wembley park). The service has by all accounts been terrible for months, so much so the line you call for complaints has a 'we're sorry' message before you even get to the options. Even streaming (netflix & sky) is poor, let alone anything like online gaming and some devices don't even connect, and they're tech support is not good either.

This whole service is nothing but a scam. Only desktop PC can (almost) reliably connect to the internet although the latency is still massive and often. The phones in my house are always on data because we simply NEVER get to connect to the WiFi.It's been like this for over 6 months and nothing has changed.PS: Quintain Living staff lie a lot about handling problems when you complain to them. I was told that they are in the middle of changing providers for months now. It's still Velocity1.
