Our teaching academy has some of the best Specialising in sustainable jewellery repair, reworks of your old or inherited Jewells. Overheads are low which is reflected in the pricing. Every item is hand made here in Essex with gems sourced ethically from Sri Lanka

Sappho is an amazing person to be around and I was lucky to attend her Jewellery Polishing Masterclass with the Gold Polishing Guru. What a double team! Do yourself a favour and book yourself on this course.Sappho hosted us so well and looked after us all, from the moment we arrived until our departure, as if we were new members of her family.Sappho's superb jewellery knowledge and willingness to share it with us helped the training flow and ensured everyone had their questions answered and could move on with their work.The laughter and fun made for a very quick 2 days of training, which I wish could be recreated every week :)Thanks Sappho and I hope to see you again :))

So firstly, I must apologise that I am likely to run out of superlatives during this review - thesaurus at the ready!!What can I say - the service I received from Sappho was just extraordinary! Sappho herself is a delight and such a lovely lady. To say she went above and beyond would be the understatement of the millennia!! Due to tech issues, an email went missing for a year (for tech issues" read "user error"!!) and both Sappho and I were sat thinking the other had not received the emails which we had sent! This led to an incredibly tight timescale for a unique and highly intricate engagement ring to be crafted but Sappho delivered!I am shamefaced at the pressure I must have placed on her shoulders to turn the piece around but it was done

A workshop with a difference, not only designs and creates bespoke jewellery and also educates Jeweller's to become better by hiring the best Master Craftsmen within the trade to pass on their skills not only for adults young children too, to inspire their minds to create. I was on a polishing master class and accommodation supplied at the local Golf club with a Gourmet evening included, a great idea to be able to spend time with like minded people in a very casual environment. The hospitality is second to none with lunch provided and all the information given freely to continue to the next stage of our career Sappho Rocks is a very special place in Essex.
