I love coming here every time I come to Beamish. Freshly baked bakery goods for decent prices.Hit or miss wether it's going to be a long wait or not. Sometimes it is, sometimes you can get straight in.

It's wares are from ye olde times, baked delights including scones, bread, cakes and tarts. The kind of high sugar stodge that would fill a belly with heartburn and calories after 14 hour shift down 't pit. Lard, sugar, eggs and flour crafted into various morsels that one really ought to try.

Long queue caused by lack of staff. Once we got to the front of the queue the staff got my order wrong and there was nowhere obvious to obtain a drink. My companions that tried the cake commented that it was dry. I thought the pie was alright but not very warm.

Freshly baked products on site. However, not much choice and very long wait queues. The staff are always very friendly.

Queued for well over half an hour to be told they just ran out of sausage rolls and cheese and onion slices (the only two savoury options). Was told it would be another 5-10 mins for the sausage rolls but that we couldn't pay for them and wait to collect them and that we had to rejoin the queue. Shame that for a bakery with decent sweet treats that the staff are so bitter.
