Came out to me on holiday as my brake caliper had seized . I was charged £615 with no receipt and no brake down in charges . Only to drive approximately 40miles to return home (365 miles)and they was sticking again , then once on the M5 the brake pedal went straight to the floor on braking . All this with my child in the car . Driving for 10 hrs and eventually getting hold of him I told him my problem he told me to get it sorted and probably wanted bleeding and would sort something financially.After numerous calls, txts and messages he then returned my txt only to be told he would not refund me the £120 I have been charged to get it fixed because I didn't have a receipt are bill of works from the garage. Strange as JW Autos didn't give one out .In short do not use this company if you value your safety or your children .Never again!!! it would have been cheaper to be towed back .Beware everyone !!!!!!

Really accommodating. Came out within 48 hours to replace ATF, but after discussion wouldn't have fixed the problem I had. Honest, reliable reasonable. Thanks Dec.

We’ve used JW on three separate occasions and he is now our go to car mechanic. Each job was well explained and we were notified of parts costs before they were ordered. Jack also gives clear indication of how long the work may take. Excellent service.

The exhaust fell off my car. Jack got back to me straight away with a decent quote and was able to book me in very quickly. Arrived promptly at my address and sorted it straight away. Highly recommend and will use him going forward

Car had developed a fault on holiday which meant we couldn't drive it safely; contacted JW Autos who came out within a couple of hours and repaired it. Saved the holiday, would recommend.

Oil filter of my Kia leaked when I arrived to St. Ives from London. I called Jack the following morning and he was there within an hour and a half. Within an hour he cleaned the engine block, replaced my oil filter and gasket and topped up the oil as it appeared to have totally leaked.Very thankful as I had just started my holiday and just arrived from London and no issues since. I see myself as being extremely luck in this situation. Very reasonably priced and friendly mechanic. A+

Great mechanic, Jack was friendly and did the work for very good price. He was also good with communication and was able to fit me in pretty short notice both times he came. Will definitely use his services next time!

Jack came round and replaced the front shock absorber on my car after I’d hit a large pothole. Very friendly and professional service - will definitely be calling him again the next time I have car trouble!
