Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in Crawley. Don't know why we've wasted our time at the competitors. Great value, delicious food. Friendly delivery staff. Was a bit confused at first on how to order but found their app on the store and it was quick, easy and efficient! Fantastic

The food was absolutely delicious! We have stopped by the store and ordered inside and we’re asking how to get to a nearby hotel. The food was done in 10 minutes and the owner gave us a ride, we forgot chopsticks and utensils and she ran back to the store to grab us some. We ordered fried rice and beef and mushrooms/mixed vegetables and everything was hot and incredibly tasty. We were so pleased we ordered delivery the next day and received our food within 20 minutes. Just as delicious as the day before. 100% recommend this restaurant! Unmatched customer service!

Decided to try this after seeing it was meant to be the best in the county. The delivery was very quick but the food was quite average, to be honest it tasted very similar to Lee Garden (which we used to use before the dreadful hygiene ratings as it was cheap and cheerful). This was quite a bit more expensive and I suffered a horrible upset stomach afterwards which ironically never happened with Lee Garden.

Great food, rude staff. Delivery is shocking.First said 1 hr on their app when i ordered, then got an email to say an hour and a half. After 2 hours, I called up and was told I was lying about the 1 hour delivery. No apology. They said it was on way so I couldn't cancel- too late to eat at this point! Food arrived 2 hrs and 25 mins after I'd placed the order.Shame because the food is good. Maybe limit the delivery slots so people aren't disappointed.

Disappointed with the service. I picked up my order and the lady who served me was rather unpleasant when I asked her if I could have a receipt. She made me feel as if I asked her something unusual by throwing things around. And the food was cold with hardly any meat in the beef in black bean souce. I would stay well away from this Chinese.

The Oriental is clearly a popular place! When we visited on Friday night there were lots of orders being taken, staff answering the phones and delivery drivers in and out. It's also a friendly local takeaway and the staff were helpful in selecting dishes from the large predominantly English chinese menu. Their slogan was communicated by a big sign saying restaurant quality food at takeaway prices".To be absolutely honest

Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. After a long day of travelling I ordered a takeaway for delivery as I was on the train home thinking it'd be delivered shortly after arriving home. When I placed the order at around 7.15pm it gave me an eta of 8.47pm. Bit late but that gave me enough time for a shower and to unpack. It soon got to 8.50pm and my food was nowhere to be seen and I'd had no emails or phone calls to say it would be late. I called and was told the food hadn't even been cooked yet and that I was in a list of people to call but they'd been soo busy they hadn't gotten around to calling me. Disappointed is an understatement. There was no offer of a discount or a free dish just apologies and told that they'd been SO busy, there was traffic and some other excuses. I thought about cancelling the order but by this point I was far too hungry and had nothing else in the house to eat. They promised it wouldn't be long. After another 40mins the food finally arrived at 9.30pm!! The driver was apologetic and they'd given him a bag of chocolate buttons as an apology for taking over 2hrs to get my £40 order to me. A nice gesture but that's what 2-3% of what I'd paid for my order.No complaints about the food. It was nice. But the delivery service really let the side down on this occasion.

Utterly disappointed. We waited over 2 hours for our delivery. It then arrived with 2 items missing. We were offered less than a fiver for our inconvenience. It’s a real shame as this Chinese is easier the best in the area but the management really need to sort themselves out and hire more kitchen/delivery staff

Went here to order and there was a bit of a wait, but to be expected as it was rather busy. The lady that served me was really friendly and very welcoming. The food was delicious, brought it home and it was piping hot which is just the way I like my food. Very tasty and well cooked. Nice and fresh. This is a very good Chinese that really do make tasty food. We settled for vegan options and pleasantly surprised how lovely it tasted. Will most certainly be back again soon to try the other Tofu dishes.
