Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Dover

Rented a Luton van to move from London, great customer service, they allowed me to park my car whilst renting the van and at night the bollards go up which gives you that extra peace of mind.Returned the van 3 days later, 200 deposit was returned to me swiftly. Thanks

Maybe this isn't really their fault but rather the corporate entities fault but when i had a problem with my Enterprise rental from France coming over to England on the ferry i called the local Enterprise office and they gave me absolutely no help. They told me to call Paris where i rented the car. Like Paris was about to dispatch someone to England to deal with my faulty battery. When i couldn't get thru on the phone to France, i asked if they had a way to get thru and they said 'no'. Why bother to advertise yourself as a global rental company when in reality you are just a bunch of individual links. Last time i rent from Enterprise.

Had no car available despite having a booking!!!!Called, spent 30 mins on the phone making the booking, travelled an hour to the location and was told they have no cars available.Such a waste of time.The guy wasn’t even apologetic.

Very very unhappy with enterprise and it involves Canterbury mainly but Dover are just as bad and to blame. There cars are sent out with defects and not clean. I had to use these through my insurance company and they supplied a courtesy car hyundai ionic top of the range there was nothing wrong with that. But there was with the car. I had been dealing with Dover but then got passed to canterbury because it was closer not in my option. Dover called right away when asked by insurance and kept in touch weekly only good bit of service. I called and made sure they would be there ontime and asked if I needed anything. As I was talking and collecting car in my 30 min lunch break had to be very quick. When I got there the young chap was showing me a card which I had no clue what he was talking about. It turned out to be damage when collected. That got me started and I then pointed out the car was full of chips in paint scratched down whole passenger side looked like it went down a bush. Whole wheel kerbed passenger side. Small and even bigger chip in screen. He didnt know what to say then asked for my driving license and bank card for a deposit. I said I didnt and I asked this when I called shortly before. I then went in body shop booked car in and came out they made me late to return to work. I got in the car and it was disgusting all dirty ash on the dash and in the door card and handles. Absolutely stunk like an ashtray I don't smoke made me feel ill. Stained roof and dusty and muddy all on the back seats. Barely see out of screen inside dirty. The washer jets never worked and window buttons broken. Car had been well used covering 33k on clock. I cleaned car myself as had to use following eve with family. I rejected car following day with canterbury and they never did anything about it. I was even working in Canterbury Saturday and was just up the road never bothered swopping over. I had to keep car until Monday eve and go to Dover and swop myself as Canterbury expected me to go collect car replacement. I went after work in my time and was told it was exactly the same car but it was a no frills basic version. Still not much better wipers never cleared screen and still smelt like an ashtray but not as bad but made slightly more effort only because of my experience I expect. Window buttons didn't work and I very nearly on a night out when in car couldn't close window because also window buttons broken. On collection I needed them to collect Monday at 9am as wife had to leave for work they codnt even do that and made her late for work. I would t use these if I had a choice. But sadly my insurance company has a deal with them and soon going to have to use them again. Not impressed.

Absolute Scam and fraud.booked seven seater online through their website which was available, even got the booking confirmation through email, Called them around 8:30 before picking up to confirm still it was ok but when turned up for collection then the drama starts saying apology there is no seven seater available, debit card charged. Complete waste of time waiting there for 2 hours and holiday itenary ruined.You better take you signage down and take off your website easy solution for you. Purely scam and bad service experience.

Quick, friendly and professional service. They didn't have the class of car we reserved online but not their fault. Ashley worked hard to make it up to us. The car we ended up with was nice and clean. Great place to rent a car if you are stopping on a cruise. A short taxi ride or about a 20 minute walk from the port.
