Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Brighton

Terrible! I booked a specific category of car months ago. I even phoned them the day before to make sure they’d have my car ready at the pick-up time. They assured me they would. When we arrived, they told us they didn’t have our vehicle ready and we’d have to wait two hours for on the be driven over from Newhaven!Also, Enterprise make a big show of offering a pick-up service, but in reality they never have a driver available.I use Enterprise all over the world about 5 times a year. The quality of service has declined significantly (except in the US where customer service is stillvalued).There are other rental companies…

I picked it a van at This location after inspection and noticed that the van has 2 big damages to both rear corners and reports to the guy who was serving me and he said oh yes it's already been noted down on our system but Luckily I didn't trust him I took 2 good photos of the damages before taking keys and drive away. 2 days later I dropped off at different locations which I paid over £200 for hiring the van. At the drop of location they gave me hard time and told me no one reported these damages. I had to show them the photos that I have taken it and they let me go with my deposit back a month later received text messages and emails asking for payment for the the damages which is over £1750 I have spoken to them again and again even sent them the damaged photos with date and time but still under investigation it's frustrating Do Not Believe them at all when hiring from this company

Don't get fooled into thinking you can rent a car with a debit card even though that's what they claim everywhere on their websites! Right after you pay they're gonna all of a sudden claim you need a credit card.Of course it's written in a very fine print in their conditions and only after claiming many times debit card is enough. Honestly wouldn't think a company like Enterprise would have to resolve to such scam practices.

Great experience when I needed a car for work meetings. Easy online check in process and super service upon arrival. James and Elfyn who helped at pick up and drop off was super friendly and efficient. Will definitely use again ☺️✨

Absolutely amazing staff. They go above and beyond and the customer service is brilliant. Any issues we have they are always on hand to help. Such a great team of people!

So many issues with vehicles!But the staff are overwhelmingly accommodating.Phoebe, James, and crew are absolutely wonderful humans who are often given a high workload by a company that is blatantly taking as many bookings as possible, while letting their kind staff smooth over the issues.Once accepting this scenario, it is understandable why there is always a wait.The staff are always open to discussing the problems that occur with vehicles (as is the nature of things not built to last!)Their phoneline is a maze clogged with numbered options. Their car club is a robot charging for nobody knows what. The company itself is set to greed mode - ruthlessly getting customers in and out as fast as they can.Enterprise should be 1 star, but these Brighton office folk are 10 star, so they get 5.Humans win.I wish them all to remain with this company, but it is likely that they'll be drafted into another that needs their shine.

I hired a car for the weekend to go camping. Alfin showed me the vehicle in a kind and professional way. He was great and made the whole experience very smooth.After camping, I dropped the car off to Josh who was also very kind and professional. He also made the experience very smooth and quick!Overall, thanks to the experience from these two members of staff I'd recommend enterprise to anyone!

Extremely disappointed.***EDIT - 8 DAYS LATER AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A PHOTO OF (EXISTING) DAMAGE" THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT ON THE DAY. AVOID THIS CON CENTRE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!! I needed a small van to pick up some furniture. Enterprise at Portslade we’re not only cheaper than others, the service was exceptional and the vehicle was ready, clean and good to go. Patrick called me before picking the van up, did the handover and explained the deal. Wry impressive experience.
