Love walking around the area with the dogs . Stopping for a coffee or some lunch sometime too. I sometimes feel staff are a little stressed and appear unfriendly , which is a shame.

This review is based on the café and not the shop. The shop is fantastic and the food is always fresh and staff are polite. However the one star comes from the café we went in there the other week there was no signs to say wait to be seated I had a very rude member of staff come over And with attitude she said “can I help you” I said “my partner is coming with his sister and the kids from the shop” she very rudely said “you have to wait to be seated” I said “okay I’m sorry I didn’t realise this is our first time here is this table taken”To which she said “well no, what drinks are you ordering” and I said “please let us sit down with the kids and then we will order” at this point my partner is sister and the two kids came over to the table she very dramatically put up her hands as they walked past like they were a bull in a china shop. As we sat down she just stood there and watched us right next to the table. I explained to my partner and his sister what had happened and we were not happy to give them our money with this service so we got up and left and she had an absolute dumbfounded look on her face. Her attitude was unprofessional and ruined our experience. I felt as if it wasn’t a place where we were welcome.

Just stopped in for coffee and cake and a chat with friends. Really enjoyed it. The cafe had a good selection of cake and scones. The coffee was great. The service was friendly, helpful and prompt. A lovely break. The farm shop was great too!

A consistently good café and farm shop. Service in the café is fast and friendly. Nice coffee. I was delighted to see Shropshire Butter Buns in the shop. These cakes are amazing, but must be eaten on the day you buy them.

A great day out. The farm shop is well stocked with a variety of local products. The food at the café was really good and staff were friendlyThe staff at the falconry centre were great, able to accommodate us even though they were hosting a private event as well.A real hidden gem all round!

It's been a long while since my last visit and despite it being a chilly early winter's day the doggy people and fresh air enthusiasts filled the tables on the terrace and there was a small wait for a table inside. The farm shop looked busy and the carparks were filling up. A good selection of snacks & meals, specials board & desserts. A main and a pudding, washed down with a hot drink, ( as we were both driving ), and a leisurely pace to eating and having a good chat. Highly recommended, good service and friendly staff.

Lovely atmosphere, outdoor seating, the welcome was good but could be more welcoming, especially when it is your first time and you are not sure of their ordering system or the menu. Food is very nice. The farm shop has nice food, but sells out early. Deli counter could do with offering lunch time take away salad boxes. More fresh bread as this also sells out. Their coleslaw is amazing. Well worth a visit.

Had breakfast /brunch at Battlefield today. Lovely setting, good quality food and friendly service. But value for money - no not really. Price for breakfast was ouch! They have a lovely farm shop and a good little exhibition about Harry Hotspur and the 2 Henry's.
