I have been to a quite a few hairdressers in Tunbridge Wells, but A "Few Good Men" is my clear favourite! I always get a very good haircut from Ram (who's a really nice guy!).And the prices are so reasonable too!Such an easy 5 star recommendation!"

My regular barbers was very busy and decided to choose A few good men from the many positive reviews it has received.When entering I was greeted warmly and the male hairdresser was busy so I was ushered towards the female one. I knew I was immediately in danger of having a bad hair cut the second I realised she shouldn't fully understand English and my request had to be translated for her by the male hairdresser. I proceeded to hold my breath and hope! As the cut progressed I obviously couldn't provide much feedback because of the language barrier, but when I got to end of the cut and said I would like a few parts trimmed shorter she was very reluctant and begrudging to fulfill my request. She then proceeded to try and up sell washing my hair and doing my eyebrows.. At this point I just wanted to leave. The cut cost me almost twice what I would usually pay. I was highly disappointed with the cut, even after a week it still looked bad. Which is why I've taken the time to write this review.I'm astounded this barbers has so many good reviews, but hopefully my experience was a one off. I personally wouldn't visit this barbers again.Reply to owner:I wrote the review because I was disappointed with my experience and the cut, nothing else.As a new customer to your shop the wash and eyebrow trim should probably be mentioned as a free part of the total cost, rather than the up sell it felt like.Also here's a lesson on customer feedback:Dear client,I'm sorry our services were not up to your standards, please let us try again and we'll make sure your haircut is perfect next time. took my 2 year old son for haircut at the Royal Victoria shop. Barber was very rough and almost angry with him. in the end i felt very sorry for my son and just wanted to leave. Barber charged us £16 for 5 mins e.g. the teenagers price. I didnt bother arguing with him as his attitude was so bad....I tried the original branch before and that was ok, but would strongly advise against taking kids to new shop. ONE TO AVOID!

I normally hate getting my haircut but this place does a fantastic job every time, with no fuss. Especially handy that they wash your hair as standard after the cut, so easy to go straight on with your day. Easy booking and very covid-safe experience.

Been coming here for years now. Ram the owner is always friendly and welcoming, he's a fantastic barber - highly skilled and efficient. Ive also had lots of the other barbers that have worked in there over the years, always had a good experience. If you know then you know - Ram is the best barber in Tunbridge WellsThanks as always
