STS Tyre Pros Chesham

Don't go here if you're a woman on your own.Went in for an MOT and service. Was told over the phone that there were a few problems with the car and it had failed it's MOT due to a variety of reasons. I was quoted £1100 for everything (MOT and service was about £250)I declined as it seemed overpriced.It was then that they admitted that actually the issues for the MOT could be done for about £250.My friend who is a mechanic took a look at the car and the failed MOT certificate and confirmed to me that it had actually only failed on the drop links and handbrake. The cost of the parts he ordered were £50. He fixed the issues with me and when I took it back for a re-test it passed.So all in all, I could have spent £800-£900 on a variety of jobs that needed doing, that weren't actually needed for the car to pass it's MOT.If you're going on your own as a woman I'd definitely avoid this place, clearly they are out to try and get the most money out of people who don't necessarily know the price of things.

Went in with a blowing exhaust. The guys couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.Fixed very promptly (once I had an appointment slot). Was apparently a simple fix so no charge!!Brilliant!

So far, everything seems good. Polite front of house man (you'd be amazed how grumpy and clueless some garages are), easy online scheduling, costs explained thoroughly.

I felt relaxed and confident, passed the MOT, and the car felt pretty solid, this after I had a service as well two months before.

Great service, as usual, from Tyre Pros. They not only confirmed the source of a slow puncture in one tyre, but also checked the rest and identified a problem with one of the others. Both issues were resolved within the hour by the efficient and friendly team.

Had a nightmare of a morning(1/12) with a dead flat and then the wheel got stuck on. Gave up waiting for RAC as was able to jam a screw in the hole, get some air in and was very relieved to limp into STS car park. Only then to be told they cant do anything until tomorrow. Seriously? You're a tyre company that can't fit in an in day emergency tyre change ? What am i supposed to sleep in the car park overnight ? Never had that in my life where a tyre centre can't squeeze in an emergency tyre change. I was not having a good morning and this just made it worse. Maybe time for a rebrand guys and just be a regular garage. Phoned Protyre around the corner and within the hour I was back on the road. Lucky there are still some tyre pros in Chesham

I was away from home and needed urgent attention to my brakes. After several similar businesses in the area said they couldn't do anything for days Tyre pros had my car on the two within 20 minutes, ordered the necessary parts which were delivered within 90 minutes and the repair completed 20 minutes later. Fantastic service.

Super friendly and helpful.Did not try to find faults like so many other garages have done in the past.
