We tried Grand Fusion Chinese restaurant in Moss Street, for dinner tonight and it was fantastic! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcome and gave us an amazing experience. The portion size was generous, the food was delicious and piping hot and considering the quality, the price is very reasonable indeed. We will definitely be back ❤️

We were here with relatives on a Friday evening. The restaurant is situated on the first floor via a flight of stairs. It didn’t appear to have an accessible entrance. The seats were comfortable, solid tables, though I couldn’t understand the theme beyond the fancy looking bar. The atmosphere felt otherwise quite plain. We tried a few dishes, a small mix from the a la carte and the vegetarian menu.Salt and Chilli Tofu. It was well cooked but the tofu’s batter had a sweet sugary taste to it, intended or not, it just didn’t match with the rest of the dish at all.Stir Fried Vegetarian Beef with Ho Fan. The taste of the rice noodles was spot on, the fried “beef” slices were not so moist as they should be but came with a watery taste. It was also a bit heavy with the beansprouts. The major disappointment, however, was the Jeui Jeui Vegetarian Chicken Pot, as it came with a price tag suggesting this being one of their signature vegetarian dishes. Though nothing was sizzling, it did arrive at the right temperature. There were quite a lot of shallots with cloves of garlic.Note the restaurant seems to use the same type of seitan to replace both beef and chicken. The Hong Kong style iced tea my cousin had was surprisingly well presented, but it’s nowhere near as milky as it should be.If you’re thinking of coming here, you’d probably want to reserve a table beforehand. Based on other reviews, the restaurant seems to be building a reputation locally. They had to turn potential patrons away.Service was courteous but busy, expect a small wait even though they don’t look short staffed.

Fantastic food and great customer service! The portions are very generous and perfect for sharing. If you are a matcha fan, the Matcha Martini is delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Grand Fusion!!

Warm and friendly atmosphere. Service was super quick and plates arrived nice and hot. The Clay Pot would easily have served 3 with a few sides and it was lovely. Highly recommended and about time Paisley had a Hong Kong style restaurant at this quality.

The restaurant has been completely refurbished (loos are lovely!) but feels a bit too bright and canteen-ish, with meals being trolleyed to tables from the kitchen and plates and cutlery being scraped clean inside the restaurant and not in the kitchen (noisy).Only access is via steep stairs and no handrail has been fitted to the bottom set of stairs yet, so not ideal for access (sure that will be fixed, as there were a few bits n bobs that hadn't been quite completed in time for them opening). They have a traditional menu and a special menu. The traditional menu is a bit boring, but the food from it did look nice. The special menu is for the more adventurous and the clay pot dishes seemed to be very popular. The staff were super friendly, albeit our main courses took over an hour and a half to arrive. The free prawn crackers and champagne helped the time pass quickly :-)We shared won ton to start. Very tasty but expensive for 4 small bites. Mains were quarter aromatic duck and lamb slices with cumin seeds. Duck was a tad dry, but the hoisin sauce was one of the best I've tasted, and I've never had such a generous portion of steamed pancakes. Lamb was lovely and tender, and the cumin fair slapped you in the face (like Marmite, you either love or hate it).Few teething problems with the young staff, but one that's sorted, and the decor has been completed, we will be returning.Hope they get plenty of local support.

I was in for the first time yesterday for lunch with my friend ( no Guide Dog Wee Skye today as was far too warm sadly ) for lunch ( 8th sept )we got a table by the window, it was lovely and cool with the air con.opted for the lunch menu, i had the chicken noodle soup and beef with green pepper & fried rice. My friend had the veg spring roll and salt & pepper chicken. We also had a complimentary plate of prawn crackers too.the food was really nice, soup was tasty even tho i do prefer the thicker noodles the thin noodles were good, not mushy and held their texture. The beef was nice thick pieces and i actually think the beef with green pepper was the nicest one ive had in a long time - it wasnt too salty and had a slight sweetness to it too. the sauce wasnt too runny either, a lovely consistency. Fried rice was good too.my friend said the spring rolls were really good and she loved the sweet chilli dip too. She said her salt and pepper chicken was really good and really enjoyed the chips as well even though werent the usual thicker chips shes used to.service was really good, when we were paying the bill, the lady chatted to us for a bit and said if we wished to stay longer could move us to different table as my friend was getting sun glare and offered water, Couldnt stay as had to get back to my guide dog who was home due to the heat. The lady ( dont know her name ) said she hopes next time she gets to meet Wee Skye toowill definately be back and might try some of the more adventurous foods that arent the usual things you would usually get on the menu(Sorry only have pics of my food, the pics of my friends food won’t show when I try to add )

Absolutely delighted to see a new Chinese restaurant opened in Paisley and what a fantastic place it is. We were there for dinner tonight and the food was absolutely outstanding. The portions sizes were very good, prices were reasonable and the food was piping hot and fresh. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will be back soon!

Been twice since the restaurant opened less than a month ago. Born and bred in Hong Kong myself, I'd certainly recommend this place, as I like the food so much here. There is a good selection of authentic Chinese dishes, particularly Hong Kong/Cantonese cooking. My two favourite dishes so far are the lamb flank casserole, and the braised pork belly slice with preserved vegetables. I've been to so many popular Chinese places around Glasgow and the chef here is certainly the only one who's really nailed it!The iced milk tea (which is a popular drink in Hong Kong) tastes excellent. Very thoughtful that they made the ice out of the milk tea itself (in the shape of a cute little bear too), which means the supposed strong taste of the tea does not get diluted like it would have otherwise if ordinary ice cubes were used. Will be back again to try out more dishes in the future!!
