Thoroughly professional and willing to go that 'extra mile'. A true Community Pharmacy and essential service. Locals should use instead of other faceless chains who provide the bare minimum service.

After trawling around all the large pharmacies in town, without success, I began calling around various pharmacies in Aberdeen in search of my medication. Most said, “Sorry, no we don’t have it”, one said, “There’s a problem with the supply of that item”. I was beginning to lose hope when I called Ferryhill Pharmacy. The very friendly gentleman I spoke to said, “Do you know I think I do have one of those left. Let me go and check for you.” Sure enough after a quick check he confirmed he had what I was looking for. When I arrived to collect it, the lady I spoke to was also very friendly and when she realised how far I’d travelled said she was delighted to have been able to help. Receiving this medication meant I did not need a hospital admission which meant I was delighted. Thank you for your excellent service. I have been telling everyone. Thankfully I’m not ill very often but if I’m ever in need of medication again I’ll know where to try.

New owner two years ago, what a difference, shop has been renovated and restocked with loads of handy daily items at very low prices, well worth a visit. Pharmacy is also loaded with ailment cures. Staff are excellent and Pharmacist is very knowledgable and helpful. Great service

After relocating in Ferryhill in 1975, I only joined this local chemist as a regular customer during the first Covid vague.Compare to previous experiences with larger chemist, this is the most patient, attentioned and efficient chemist shop I used in the last 48 years...

Very friendly pharmacy. They deliver my medication. Very nice staff and helpful pharmacist. A thousand times better than previous places I have been.

As a tourist I came here to get a COVID test. They told me that they don't sell this type of test anymore. When I asked where could I get it or where could I get a PCR they told me that they don't know. Is difficult to explain but I felt like she was a bit rude and I find a bit weird that a pharmacist doesn't know where can I get tested. I felt like she was just saying no and trying to run away from us. Sometimes she was even saying no before we even asked.

I asked the counter assistant if I could speak to the pharmacist about my prescription which had been labelled incorrectly. The counter assistant told me no I couldn't speak to the pharmacist and to take the medication however I wanted". This is simply not acceptable."

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Service was excellent. My prescription was made up quickly. The prescription collection service is excellent. They even send a text to let me know when everything is ready.A wonderful local community pharmacy. Over the counter remedies are so much cheaper here than in the big chains!Well done to Ross and his team for making the pharmacy a real asset to the local community.

Have just changed my preferred pharmacy from Boots which is in my opinion is the worst pharmacy you could ever use (all service provided with a shrug as in well we don’t have that so just stand in the everlasting que till we might get it….)to Ferryhill pharmacy who not only service your prescription promptly but deliver it to your door, unbelievably good service, well done Ferryhill pharmacy.
