Pentre Mawr Country House Wedding Venue

We stayed in a safari lodge at Pentre Mawr for the weekend, I couldn’t think of a better place to visit if you’re wanting to have a relaxing break. The bed was comfortable, the lodge immaculately clean with a well equipped kitchen, the hot tub warm and bubbling away when we arrived and the bathroom vast with roll top bath and waterfall style shower. The stay was topped off by a hamper that had been perfectly put together by the exceptional hosts, Bre and Graeme, who couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay!We have also been lucky enough to attend a wedding at Pentre Mawr, the whole place makes for a magical day – you could tell that everyone attending was having the time of their lives!

We have just come back after celebrating our long awaited wedding. We booked Pentre Mawr last minute having had two cancellations this last year. We are so glad we decided to book our special day/weekend at Pentre Mawr! From start to finish they have been exceptional. Communication was good in the lead up to the wedding and all questions were answered promptly! We arrived for our wedding weekend on a rainy Friday to set up. Following a busy day, we were then able to relax with a pre- wedding meal with our wedding party, we were well and truly looked after by Abbie and the team. After a restful night in the Bridal cottage we woke up to glorious sunshine for our wedding day!The wedding party were treated to a full breakfast in the Hayloft dining room and the Bridal party were served in the Bridal cottage in between getting ready.We decided to have our closest friend do the ceremony for us, having done the legal" bit a few weeks earlier in Liverpool. I would highly recommend any couple to do this

Couldn't recommend Pentre Mawr more for any occasion! My wife and I had our wedding here recently and throughout the whole weekend everything was perfect. The rooms are immaculate, the staff are helpful and friendly and whole team go above and beyond. Truly a magical weekend at an amazing venue. Thank you so much to Graham, Bre and the team!

Fantastic venue for a wedding!The whole weekend was brilliant from start to finish!We got married here at the end of June and so glad we picked this place.All the staff are very helpful running up to the day and extremely helpful on the day.The bonus Friday evening meal really makes the weekend special and also helped us relax before the big day (The food on the Friday was amazing too!)The team helped ensure everything ran smoothly on the day and we felt very looked after.We got so many positive compliments on our day for the the venue and staff.The set up of being able to choose your own vendors also massively helps you to create a unique day of your own.We'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to gey married!

I can't recommend Pentre Mawr enough!If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue then honestly look no further.There are multiple things that really appealed to us about the venue and I will try to explain these a little bit below:- Its absolutely beautiful! Set in the Welsh hills, its surrounded by stunning countryside and before the party starts all you can hear is birdsong.- We were given absolute freedom to make the day our own, and have anything that was important to us. For us, it was really important that our dogs could come with us for the weekend, and they were even able to come down the aisle (thank goodness they behaved!) We also had total freedom to choose any supplier we desired with no extra cost. This allows you to make sure everything is just how you want.- We booked our wedding in the height of covid but I have to say, we always felt extremely secure that the wonderful team of Bre and Graham would look after us and guide us through whatever the world chose to throw at us.- The full wedding weekend allows your nearest and dearest to come and settle in on the Friday night. This really means on the Saturday that you can relax and enjoy the day, safe in the knowledge everyone is rested from travelling and are ready for the fun to really start.Really and truly we had the best day of our lives and can't thank these amazing people enough for their part in it.
