Could not recommend Sam enough! For someone who would never try clothes on in a shop and was full for nerves, Sam made me feel so at ease. She really listened to what I wanted but also pushed me to trying something different on as well! I can’t wait to go back and put my dress on at Browns.

My daughter didn’t go off to a good start wedding dress shopping!! Then we went to Browns of Totnes on Saturday. Absolutely perfect ♥️ Sam made her feel special and new exactly what she wanted. Certainly recommend her she has lots of time for you.xx

Like most girls I have always dreamt of the moment you are ready to go looking at wedding dresses. Browns of Totnes didn’t disappoint. From the moment I walked through the door Sam’s warmth put me at ease. With equal amounts of excitement and nerves I was mesmerised by the stunning dresses on offer and all within a reasonable budget. I fell in love with dress 3 after trusting the vision Sam had for the dress after alterations and she was so right! She really knows what she’s doing! After leaving the shop very happy I contacted Sam after seeing an overskirt which she hunted for and got shipped over. My dress fitting wasn’t straight forward due to illness but again Justine completely reworked the whole dress, hours of work, she really is a talented lady. The final fitting went perfectly. I cannot thank both enough for their talent, vision that matched mine and the passion for their job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my perfect dress. Don’t shop anywhere else for your perfect dress, you won’t be disappointed x

Highly recommend!I fell in love with Brown's - with the dresses, with Sam, with the place.This was the first wedding dress shopping I had done and set the bar so high; Sam encouraged (without pushing) me to try dresses and designers that were not what I had envisioned, and I am so glad she did. The dress I chose was a beautiful Catherine Deane 2-piece that I would never have chosen otherwise, but Sam was able to help me find a dress that was truly me. I have had SO many compliments on the beautiful dress and on how well I found a dress that suits me, but I wouldn't have had the confidence to try this dress without Sam and her guidance, as well as her advice to start by trying dresses from all the designers she carries. I will definitely be recommending Brown's to anyone I know getting married in the area.

Myself and my now wife Gemma both purchased our wedding two-piece Catherine Deane dresses from Browns and we couldn’t have been happier with them! I had the most incredible experience finding my wedding dress at Browns of Totnes. I arrived extremely nervous (though very excited!) and Sam immediately put me at ease. She took the time to learn about me and my wedding plans, talked me through the (amazing!) range of gowns and separates, and then let me make my selection. When I tried on *the* dress, it was a real wow" moment

I can’t thank Sam enough for fitting me in at such short notice, and on a weekend at 8am! Sam got my vibe straight away and the result was that we managed to find something that truly bought tears to my eyes! I can’t believe it was the first shop I went to - what a relief, I was dreading the whole experience and envisaging trips to Exeter, Bristol or London; but actually it was the most relaxed wonderful experience, right on my doorstep! I’m an indecisive person at the best of times, but with Sam’s relaxed approach and expertise, I was made to feel totally at ease, and was done and dusted in 1.5hrs! I’m an older bride and went in to Samantha feeling totally out of my comfort zone and came out with the most beautiful dress. Samantha was patient, kind and knew exactly what dress would suit me..she made me feel special and that I deserved to be there. Such a lovely experience and I thank her whole heartedly!
