Carl Eden Piano Teacher

I've been having piano lessons from Carl for a number of years. I find Carl to be a very good teacher, he is very patient.I would recommend him to anybody who is looking for a piano teacher.

My daughter has had about 5 lessons now with Carl. I can’t recommend him highly enough! His friendly, easy manner quickly put my daughter (13) at ease which helped her to focus on ‘the learning’.Carl clearly has many years of experience of teaching, and it shows: whilst helping the student to understand the necessary basics, he has the ability to tune in to to their ‘world’ of interest, making their whole learning experience interesting and unique.Thank you Carl.

I have been with Carl for just over 3 years now and I am amazed with the amount of progress I have made throughout this time, not just with my piano playing ability but also with my confidence and musicality as a person. I took up piano lessons with Carl after I retired from work.He has adopted a structured yet flexible approach, quickly identifying my level of ability (very limited!) and building a teaching programme around that. He is an exceptional, very knowledgeable tutor with a professional and personable approach who provides constructive guidance with patience and humour.I would not hesitate to recommend him to both experienced pianists and absolute beginners.

Carl is an excellent piano tutor. My son has been with him a few year already. Carl is very patient, friendly and professional. My son enjoys his lesson so much. He always tell us what my son has been doing well and what need to improve. He not only teaches my son piano , he also let my son understand that not easily give up although it is difficult. Half an hour lesson, he sometimes spent more than that just make sure my son are all catch up with that lesson. My so has got very good grades since with Carl. Definitely recommend .

As a later year student of Carls my enthusiasm for learning to play has not wavered. I find him encouraging during lessons, considerate, patient and honest. The one to one and on line sessions I've taken part in I've found easy to follow, informative and challenging. Easy to approach at all times, questions always explained making learning to play an enjoyment for me.For all types students I would recommend him.
