Love it here,2nd time we've been.We were on holiday at Cleethorpes.Very reasonable price too.Gift shop a little disappointing, could have had bit more variety. But it didn't spoil amazing time wondering round here.Highly recommend a visit.xx

Really enjoyed my visit. The ex skipper that gave us the guided tour of the trawler was so good. Painted a picture with his descriptions of how it was to work on the vessel. Inside the museum was enjoyable too... children will enjoy it as well as adults. Oh, and last but not least ... the hot chocolate in the cafe was fab!

Loved it here, everyone should visit this museum if you are in the area. Entry price is very reasonable and a must is the Tiger Ross tour, worth every penny of the extra £2. Ron, who gave us the guided tour was excellent. It's all genuine and interesting, especially as Ron was part of the crew for many years! Tour was all very his experience! Can't praise it enough. The museum is a must if you are in the area of Grimsby

Grimsby gets a lot of slack, and I do partially contribute that, but as I'm half Grimbarian it does make me happy to see the interesting and parts of its history. My mum went when she was younger in 1993 and thought it was boring - but coming back now she really enjoyed it, and found it both informative and fun! The best part of the centre easily was the tour of the Ross Tiger with a genuine Grimbarian fisherman teaching us the ropes, so to speak, and gives you a feel for the fisherman life. The only negative thing I have to say about the centre was it didn't touch on the end of the fishing industry and the slow decline of Grimsby following the Cod Wars, and how it really impacted the people, but overall it was a good experience.

Fabulous place helpful staff .it was most interesting walking around museum being able to smell the dock ,burning etc and the fisheries in boats that moved as they caught fish ! Went on the real boat and the guide Ron was brilliant we felt we were reliving how the fisherman endured the rough sea !some never returning . Excellent would highly recommend this lovely museum and the boat tour !

Visited on a very quiet day and booked the museum and tour of the Ross Tiger. 1 of 12 fishing ships, made in the 1950. The tour was informative, the guide had served on the ship for three years. Then walked round the museum, which involved different interactive screen of fishing, which was done well. There is a cafe on site but today we never got there best, little coffee in the capacino, and not very nice sausages in our sandwich but good value and sure another day would be better. The toilet are on the right at the main entrance which were very well kept the day we went.Pay parking right outside, £3 for 4 hours so not too expensive.Took us just over two hours but was very quiet. Worth a visit if in Grimsby.

Great place to visit. Fascinating history and John, the tour guide on the trawler was excellent. Would recommend doing the trawler guided tour first before the museum.
