Fantastic location. But don't try satellite navigation it's showing the wrong road. The best route as per the local shops park front of owe Betts pub and walk. Free parking.

Parking is easy to find on Rochdale road although be careful crossing as it’s a 50mph straight road. Pathways are easy to find and you’ll soon find yourself amongst the wind turbines which are beatify to watch and listen to. A short walk from the turbines is Whittle hill with a hill marker and viewpoint.You’ve done all this there’s the haunted Owd Betts pub which is perfect for a pub lunch!
