David was an absolute dream on our wedding day. For someone who hates having their photo taken, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy he made it with his gentle direction and easy going demeanour. The photos he took were amazing; he captured such precious moments of us and our wedding guests and we will treasure them forever. I can't recommend his services enough!

A huge thanks to David for the amazing pictures taken on our special day, he captured everything perfectly from before and during the service to walking through Calverley Park in the sunshine, he was totally professional and for two people not used to having a succession of pictures taken was brilliant at gently directing us to some amazing shots, we would definitely recommend.

David was amazing as our wedding photographer. Right from the onset he was professional, creative, hard working and generally a really nice guy to have around on such a special and intimate day! The photos really speak for themselves, but we're incredibly happy with the momentos he's created for us. All our guests were really impressed with him and the photos he took. Can't recommend him highly enough!

From the start David was really helpful and professional and we loved his style of photography. We had a pre-wedding shoot in Central London, which is a great idea if you have never had professional photos before! This helped us to relax and get to know David and how he works. At the wedding David blended in and I hardly noticed him taking photos. The photos capture our day perfectly, with some bautiful candid moments and show everyone having a great time and bring back many happy memories of our day! David also provided all the photos within a couple of weeks and sent the most gorgeous presentation box with USB and a selection of photos. We absolutely love our photos and 100% recommend David as a wedding photographer!

I got in touch with David to photograph our wedding. His communication was excellent. On the day he blended in seamlessly and got some lovely photos of our guests as well as of us despite neither of us being great in front of a camera. He understood that we wanted a relaxed day without lots of posing so was efficient and calm to get the shots so we could spend time with our guests. We received the photos in a beautifully presented box and I am delighted with them. I would really recommend David to anyone after a relaxed approach to capture their special day.

David shot our Wedding last year and did an outstanding job. From meeting at a convenient time and location to talk through our requirements through to the engagement shoot and the wedding itself, he was professional, courteous and brilliant. He captured our wedding exactly how we wanted it and more, would highly recommend using David for your next event!

My husband and I spent ages looking at different photographers for our wedding. We couldn't have found a better photographer. He captured moments throughout the day that were amazing. Our guests did not even realise he was there. I had shown a couple to some of my friends and they were absolutely shocked he was even there.... this is how discreet David is.. you don't even realise he is around. My boss who turned up briefly was amazed you captured her and absolutely loves your style of photography, very natural and relaxed reportage of the day.I was particularly worried we wouldn't get any nice photos given we didn't get married on any certain grounds with a pretty" back drop. This was not needed! I had discussed this with David and together we found some locations which set our photos off in an amazing way!When they were ready be sent them in an amazing presentation box which I was surprised came the next day! It was an absolute delight to open the box and find the USB encased in a gorgeous aroma (I won't spoil the surprise of what it came in....you just have to book him to find out)Thank you for capturing our special day. For James and I it was a day we had waited for and one we both finally wanted to have and you captured our love perfectly. Wish I could share them all on here."

We could not have asked for a more wonderful photographer for our wedding day and we are so very grateful for David’s thoughtfulness, hard work and talent!Although our wedding date was delayed due to Covid-19 by one year, David was in regular contact and a great communicator, putting our minds at ease about rearranging our new date.In the build up to the day, we met (over FaceTime!) and chatted through the plan and which photos were important to us. David was able to give some useful suggestions and helped us to work out timings/order of the day.On the morning of our wedding, I was concerned about having a photographer while getting ready as I wanted it to be just my family and bridesmaids. However, David was so subtle, good humoured and fun when capturing the preparations and I’m so grateful he did! He was able to discreetly photograph all the special moments of the morning. He also organised his colleague, Rob, to photograph Mickey and the groomsmen.During the service and the reception, David and Rob did a fantastic job of organising our family and friends to capture the shots that we had asked for. They both worked SO hard despite it being a very hot July day of 28 degrees and full sun! We had a short photoshoot after the reception drinks before our wedding breakfast too. A big priority for us was to have lots of natural photos rather than a lengthy photoshoot as we didn’t want too much time away from celebrating with our family and friends. I was so grateful David took this into account and took lots wonderful shots but in a really efficient way.The outcome of all the photos were truly amazing and we were SO happy with them. David put web quality photos and also print quality photos onto a memory stick for us. He personally delivered it after the wedding in a beautiful wooden box which also had print outs of the best photos of the day.I could not recommend David Burke Photography enough and I can’t wait for us to have future events so that David can photograph them for us too!
