Royds Cat Hotel

Left our cat there over the weekend and the service was excellent. First time we have left her but it was fine and she was happy. Already booked for two more stays next year. Thanks.

Another fantastic stay with Royds Cat Hotel. This was the second time we’ve used their services now and there will be many more. As I’m sure many others were, we were anxious to consider using a cattery at first but we now feel very confident leaving our cats with Royds. We were able to organise a little tour with them before we placed our first reservation and we were really pleased with what we saw, booking in our first dates there and then. We were provided updates via messenger during our first stay as we were keen to hear how the cats were finding it, and the update let us know both cats were being themselves and acting how they do at home. Both had found cosy little nooks to snooze in which is where they were when we collected them. The second time round both cats clearly remembered where they were and settled right back down into their favourite spots. The Royds team are lovely and clearly care a great deal for the cats in their care. Another thing to note is that it is very reasonably priced for such a reliable service and for all kibbles and litter included. Thank you!

We needed a cattery at short notice (due to some home renovations) and did not expect to be able to find one after our regular one had recently closed down. We called Royds on the off-chance and the owner, Liz, informed us we were in luck. She encouraged us to visit the premises in advance (always reassuring) but we did not have the opportunity to do so. On arrival Liz showed us around the facilities and all rooms (in varying sizes) were modern, bright, warm and had been well designed to keep our two little bundles of joy happy. We left reassured knowing they were going to be in safe hands. A few days in we had some news that our renovations were going to take longer than originally thought so I contacted Liz who was more than happy to take them for the additional time required. Really pleased we found Royds and, looking back, even if our regular place was still open we would have been unlikely to go back.

First time using this cat hotel and very happy we did. The owners are great and friendly and can tell they really love cats which is really important. They had a good selection of cat foods to pick from and the rooms they stay in are so big and look great for cats, they even have a little window so they can watch outside.

Lovely cattery, Mila always enjoys her stay here. Liz and Paul are very welcoming, would highly recommend.

A Cattery is all about the owners & their love (or disregard in some cases) for their 'guests'. Liz & Paul clearly have great affection for their 'guests' so you feel so much more comfortable leaving your loved ones with them. Thank you Liz & Paul

This was my cat's first visit to a cattery, so we were a bit nervous as you hear stories about how stressful they can be for cats. No need to worry: when we picked her up today, she couldn't have looked more chilled, tucked in her little holiday bed. The hotel is very clean and the owners clearly care for the kitties in their charge, going to a lot of trouble to ensure they have the food they're used to and will enjoy. Highly recommended.

Recently took our cat for 2 weeks. It was the first time he had ever been to a cattery so we were very nervous. He soon settled in and he was very well looked after. We will definitely use them again. Lovely place.
