Here for a meal with family. Promptly seated and served. Food good and great portion size with quite exceptional chips! The rack of ribs especially good. Could have been 5 stars, but final bill presented had 3 more drinks on it that we had consumed, while it was quickly corrected, they could have easily been missed and paid for!!

Well what can I say about the Plough. Excellent variety on the menu, not just the normal items some great old stuff too. Service couldn't be better in my opinion, staff friendly and attentive.The 3 of us that went this afternoon are looking forward to our next visit...Well done staff, chef and kitchen staff for looking after us so well.

It was right, clean place, good food but the atmosphere was missing something. The decor is very quirky, they have head shaped cups, really curious. They are doing a great job and you can see they love what they do, do it with passion and for their public. The lady in the kitchen is really heart warming and nice. Thank you for everything.

Last minute booking to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Both had the roast beef. Couldn’t fault a thing. Absolutely wonderful, large portions, but we battled through! All the staff friendly and very efficient.

We came here as the place had good reviews and was recommended by the campsite we stayed at. Unfortunately two different options in the menu were not available so l ordered the fish and chips. The fish was huge and encased in greasy batter that had leached grease and soaked in to the chips below. The fish was really nice out of the batter, a few less greasy chips were eaten but l gave up. I did give this feedback to the waitress.Don't know if they were having a bad chef day or that is the norm, it was a disappointing experience.On the bright side the staff were very pleasant and efficient.

Went for first time today. The outside space is lovely in the sunshine with the music playing, felt quite like we were in the Mediterranean. We had the Sunday lunch for 5 and everyone remarked on how good the food was. The roast beef and belly pork were both delicious, as were the ribs…thoroughly recommended!

Very tasty, just could of done with a bigger portion of vegetables. We were given a serving dish with our veg in, just not enough for 3 people who like lots of vegetables.
