Short drive to york and shops. The cottage 3 was clean tidy and good size for us, all on one level as mom struggles to walk far now. I am looking to rebook for my wifes birthday in november</div>

<div class="tm-category-review__desc">Stayed here for 2 nights in Cottages 1 and 3. The place was very clean, everything worked, the heating was on when we got there so we walked into lovely warm cottages. The beds were VERY comfortable.They are basic cottages but you do get what what you pay for. This was a very decent price and they had everything we could have wanted. It was a little bare, probably could use a little bit of love. For additional cosyness, pillows on the sofas could have been added, maybe a bean bag so we could all sit around a bit more comfrotably when its a big group. (But that is really nit picking - literally the only comment i heard made at the time)</div>

<div class="tm-category-review__desc">We were staying in cottage 2 for 2 nights. The cottage smelled of new paint. The bedrooms were noisy you could hear the noise from the road nearby. The shower was terrible with the block drainage. The toilet wasn't in the great condition when we were arrived. The mattress was bad. I couldn't sleep well for the 2 nights. I'm not happy with this and don't think it worths the money.</div>

<div class="tm-category-review__desc">Roomy and well equipped accommodation in a pleasant location. Very clean and tidy on arrival the cleaners etc did a first class job and were helpful and very nice. Thank you, would recommend and stay again.</div>

<div class="tm-category-review__desc">Convenient location and easy drive to York. Cottages are spacious and comes with all amenities for self catering. There is a BBQ and HOTTUB which was really good. We were in cottage 8. Close to a busy road and can be noisy if you open the windows/doors</div>

<div class="tm-category-review__desc">We stayed in cottage number 4 for a week over ChristmasThe cottage was warm on arrival and cleanBen who is on site was friendly and helpfulPlenty of hot water and large shower was welcomeOverall a nice stayJust s few issues I think need looking atThe hot tub needs a step to get in and out.We were told there was a washer drier there was no drier and no place to air dry your clothes.This was disappointing.Wifi is advertised but very weak and no rooter in the cottage we guessed we picked up a signal now and again for the farmhouse opposite that had a large group staying.The bottom plastic shelf of the fridge fell off leaving milk and a jar smashed on the floor, we removed the shelf and placed it back in its place on departureIt doesn't fit on properly at allWhen opening the dishwasher the plynth flew off and did on each use so we had to leave that off for the duration of our stayBathroom cabinet is wobbly and we didn't use it I think one move and it would be off the wallWe have self catered for years and the first time we wasn't left a welcome pack ..there was some little pots of UHT milk in the fridge and cleaning cloths. I certainly don't expect a hamper but fresh milk maybe bread or biscuits, again it was Christmas week so even a mince pie just to give it that special touch would be nice.I see the above as easy to sort and for the price you pay they need sorting.Like I say overall a nice visit.</div>

It was the best venue i have ever been to!!Everything was clean and as descripted on the website, the beds were really comfy and the room sizes were great.Couldn't fault a thing about it, thank you so much for having us and we cant wait to come back.</div>

<div class="tm-category-review__desc">During our stay here we had many issues, broken lights, overflowing grey water, no shower temperature control and some small stuff.Luckily the handyman was able to fix most of it in a timely manner.The location is great, only a 10 minute drive to York. The rooms are nice, and the beds are quite comfy.We had 22 people staying over and after some furniture moving we all fit around the dinner table to enjoy Christmas dinner together.</div>
