Booked online for a Friday lunchtime. There was limited availability even though there were plenty of empty tables - maybe this keeps it feeling exclusive". The service was excellent. We went for the two-course set lunch menu: soup of the day

Went for Sunday lunch, beautiful atmosphere but food wasn't anything extraordinary. Average sized portions, food on the colder side, I went for the lamb which was a measly portion which comprised mostly of fat. The wife got the beef which was awesome. Pigeon starter with pickled blueberries was the standout dish. Service was OK, again nothing too special.

Stunning restaurant. I have wanted to visit this place in many years and finally visited Northumberland and realised how close we were. Booked a table for 5, one of the party was in a wheelchair with allergies. We could not have been better looked after and the food was exquisite. We will definitely return ❤️

Cosy atmosphere, warm. Friendly staff, however returned a drink as wasn't what I asked for, but they changed it without questions. Plenty on the menu to choose from. Not a long wait to be served, or in between courses. Food was delicious, hot, and we left nothing on our plates! Deserves all 5 stars, and hope to visit again. Reasonably priced.
