Cheadle Hulme
Just went to my local station (Cheadle Hulme) and used the ticket machine to print my tickets. It broke down mid print, went to the person on the station desk who told me nothing they can do as the machines are nothing to do with them! They can't print any more because the computer will say you've already had them, so (shrugging his shoulders) you'll have to contact the people you purchased them from. World class customer service!

Cheadle Hulme's principal rail station. Offering services to Crewe and Stoke in the south, and Stockport and Manchester to the north. Frequent services. Staff on hand too, lifts available to each of the platforms.

An okay junction station just to the south of Stockport. Nothing really special about it, but facilities provided here are a bit better than I was expecting. You get step free access to all platforms thanks to a new footbridge with lifts on them. Said lift also accesses the car park to the side of the station, which is also decently sized.

TAKE EXTREME CARE WHEN PARKING HERE NORTHERN RAIL WILL FINE YOU AT THE SLIGHTEST PROVOCATION. It is a money making scheme for them. They are judge and jury so there is no meaningful appeals procedure. Consider yourself warned.

A small station between Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield. Platforms are on stilts. Functional amenities.

Cheadle Hulme
It's only a small station although it does have 4 platforms. Disabled access via a lift. No shops or cafe. A good number of trains into Stockport and Manchester.
