Cloak Caravan Park

I booked here for a Motorhome pitch for one night.Upon arrival there was no one on reception and I had to phone a number posted over the reception door, I was told just go to the pitch and was given the number to go to, this was the extent of the customer service.I found my way and parked up, having not been told anything I had to go look for the facilities myself.The shower looks quite new but I was surprised to find that I had to pay to get hot water! I have never been on a site that charges a fee for a pitch to then charge to have a shower! It's not just about having to pay for hot water but if you don't have any change then you need to go out to find a shop, this place is quite isolated so it's a bit of a drive to do that.There is a sign telling people not to lift the handle of the toilet and shower door when leaving as this locks the door! Really? How difficult is it to fit a lock that only locks from the inside? There were kids running around and low and behold they done exactly that and locked the shower.Wifi is supposed to be available but I was unable to keep a connection unless I stood outside the laundry room, I don't really want to stand outside in the rain being bitten by the midges just to check my email.There is a Chemical toilet waste disposal but no grey water disposal.I found the service bad, the facilities having to pay extra to use them made them bad and I certainly wouldn't stay again.

Da sonst nichts frei war in der Nähe…Der Inhaber war sehr nett, aber sonst würd ich es nicht empfehlen.Die Aussicht auf alte Camper (die zum Verkauf dort stehen). Bad sauber, aber fürs Warmwasser muss man zahlen…Geschirr muss man mit kaltem Wasser abwaschen, etc

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had lovely views overlooking the sea and highland cattle in field next to us. Would definitely recommend.

I don't want to tell you how good it is because I want to keep it a secret and all to myself..
