I enjoy taking money out of the cash machine so i can buy more karma colas at the old shoe 10/10

I'm giving this 4 stars for how it used to be, I was tempted to give it 5. When all 3 floors were open, with free drinks, pool, bowling, comfortable seating areas, I can't imagine there was a better bank anywhere in the UK! So for the wonderful times before the pandemic, I'm scoring it highly! Thank you for what you've done in the past!Now it's a nice enough building, without the soul that made it special.

They waste your time and ignore you they can’t do anything in there for a little thing on your bank account they say you have to call or online that’s all they sayI wasn’t happy about them service

Spectacular! Great place to get a drink and relax or chat with friends / colleagues. Lovely atmosphere - congratulations to the Virgin Money team.

Was met very quickly and every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, approachable and helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly my request was handled.

Their Head Office is hopeless. With the takeover from Yorkshire Bank to Virgin which I didn't realise, they'd made a mistake at the changeover and are charging me for something I've already paid. After complaining at their branch in Sheffield and they could see it had been paid on my bank statement seems their HO like to prove it themselves so I got a call at 7pm that night asking if I wanted to escalate the complaint. Yes says I at the beginning of March, still not heard a thing and it is now June. I just keep getting automated replies about how busy they are bla bla bla, Since then received 2 statements re this amount + interest which I'm ignoring.

I have had an account with Yorkshire for years and was hoping to set up a joint account in Virgin. We were met by 6 members of staff stood around, looking extremely annoyed at us being there, despite no other customers being in the building. When we asked one of the ladies about the process of opening up a joint account she very rudely told us it had to be done online. I said I was just wanting more information, as I was unable to find the answer to my question online, which she was unable to give me and made us feel very unwelcome and stupid. She didn't seem to be able to tell me about any account features. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming and I certainly will not be going back there or opening up an account with virgin based on this experience. I appreciate more and more things are done online now but they really were just basic questions and was absolutely no need for this response. Very disappointing and incredibly poor customer service.

Went on a Saturday to make deposit and needed an assistant to process a document. It was 30 mins waiting in the queue even though there was more staff mooching about than the 3 people in the queue. Try asking the student working there leaning on the walls and disinterested in helping anyone. More sense talking to a dolphin! I just have the feeling this is the way virgin money like there staff and services to operate. I for one am not sticking round to see what other changes they will make to benefit the company and disservice the customers

Popped in today to this branch, on behalf of my elderly mother. Was immediately greeted by a number of friendly, helpful staff. Top marks to Ian, who went out his way to assist me in paying in a cheque that I'd accidentally damaged.Fabulous service! A big thank you to Ian. You are a brilliant ambassador for the company. 10 out of 10 experience.
