Goji Hair

I've been a customer here since they opened and they used to be so good, welcoming, friendly and would do such a good job on my hair but sadly no longer. The main receptionist is so rude and has overcharged me twice. Have had enough, will be going elsewhere.

Had my hair permanently straighten 3 time. The first time was amazing and was perfect for my frizzy hair. Had it a second time with another lady who works in the salon. she rushed my hair and also burnt the top of my hair and my hair was frizzy the next time I washed it. We told them and the manger could see that she didn’t do it properly, but we didn’t get our money back. I went to have it the 3 time and the same thing happen. We read more into the organic permanently treatment and it isn’t organic. I went to an another salon after this who said my hair was in the worst condition because of this treatment. I know how to use another product to fix my hair. This is very sad.

I booked a lash lift with Goji Hair. I went in for my patch test, then got a phone call asking why I hadn’t gone in for a patch test, but it was their error that they hadn’t updated the system. On the day of the appointment, an hour before they had cancelled my appointment and did not offer any other appointment that day. I would give 0 stars if I could, very unprofessional service. Would not reccomend

For years (£££) I have been treating my partner to a cut and colour here whilst visiting family in Cardiff but her last experience was shocking to say the least, she attended her booked appointment for a colour on a Friday. This went fine as per usual. The stylist suggested she have a cut too so she decided to stay on an extra night in Cardiff (at a hotel) and have a cut the following Monday. The appointment was booked for 9am. My partner arrived on time but the lights were off and there was a closed sign on the door. She decided to have a coffee next door and wait until 9.30 as they obviously made a mistake. She returned at 9.30, the closed sign was still up but the lights were on. She went into the salon and was met with hostility by the staff who told her she was late and they were trying to call. My partner explained about the lack of lights and the closed sign (which was still up) but the staff member told her she'd been called twice (on a old phone number even though they had been updated) and now she was 30 minutes late, there was no chance she could be seen. So... if I were you I wouldn't bother with this salon and go elsewhere, they leave closed signs up, leave lights off and then blame the customers for not showing up. To really rub it in, they then had the cheek to message and say 'because you didn't show up for your appt, next time you need to pay up front'. There won't be a next time, we'll take our money elsewhere and I suggest you do too. It's not until you find a nicer friendlier salon with less pompous/pretentious staff that you realise how poor and expensive Goji has become.

I really enjoy having my eyebrows laminated and shaped here. Tracy who worked on them is a lovely professional who makes you feel comfortable. The whole experience was very relaxing: warm massage table very comfy and relaxing music. I also love to come here for a haircut. 100% recommended

I am not from the area and over for a concert. I stopped by for a trim to treat myself beforehand - I should say, I have curly hair.The finish on my hairstyle after the trim was awful. It was frizzy, bushy and with no curls. I said it looked terrible and was asked what was wrong with it - which felt like someone was asking what is wrong with a house on fire!They persuaded me to stay to have it restyled and I received money off for it.Now that I can properly see what the cut is like, I can that asking for a trim has meant little has come off the length and the layers have been kind of trimmed. The layers don't blend into the length any more and I have a shelf of curls at the back. At no point did anyone actually check to see if my hair was even either side if my head (it isn't) and I was quickly shown the back of my head after the second restyling - when I just wanted to get out of there.I was told during the second restyling that if I had a problem with the cut I could come back but I am leaving the area early next day so can't come back.Although clearly they don't know how to cut or style curly hair, I am more annoyed with myself for taking the chance on the salon - I should know better than taking a chance on a random salon!! The 2 stars is for the staff, they seemed really nice.

Exceptional!! Above and beyond any other salon I've ever been to in my 38 years on earth! The level of knowledge and professionalism is mind blowing. My salon for life now!!

I was one of the lucky one who had a free haircut offered by Cloe. We've been double booked with an another lady at the same time. Problem was solved very smoothly. I actually had Ebony. She was very friendly and great hairdresser. I love my new hair. She followed my requirements perfectly.Thank you very much will definitely be back.

First time having beauty treatments at Goji. Beauty therapist was nice and friendly, and painted over a smudged nail with no hassle. Lots of colours to choose from the vegan friendly Zoya range. When home I noticed some jagged edges on my fingernails so had to file those down, and there was dried blood on one nail from where my cuticle had been nipped too far down. I'd felt it at the time but didn't realise it had drawn blood. There was no hand massage which was a shame. I'd recommend choosing the Classic Pedicure as the Signature Pedicure is £20 extra for just the paraffin wax treatment (no hand and arm massage as detailed but some cream was applied which took a few seconds) so I didn't feel it was good value. It wasn't one of the best mani/pedi's I've had, but not the worst either. I'll likely stick to my previous salon for beauty treatments in future, but I've always had great experiences for haircuts and colouring so will be back for that soon.
