Amazing place. Always so friendly, patient and helpful. Fantastic choice of frames. When I had an issue with my new glasses, they could not have been more helpful and got everything sorted free of charge.

Thoroughly recommended! All the staff were so helpful and accomodating. No hard-sell, all the frames were beautifully clean and sanitised, and they were great with our 4 year old who has never had to wear glasses before. The store is light and open, and there was a huge choice of frames, even for kids. Will definitely be back for my next pair.

I can only agree with all the other great reviews. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I have never had such a thorough eye test, and the care given by everyone is exceptional.

An extremely refreshing experience to get new glasses. The team are all brilliant and friendly. Sophie the optometrist is the best optometrist I have ever been tested by with regard to knowledge and explaining all about the equipment and your eyes. I have several pairs of Acuitis glasses and would not use anywhere else.

I've been to a lot of opticians over the years, and they are always friendly BUT they never manage to get the prescription/dispensing right, and I have to go back and forth several times whilst they sort different lenses - and sometimes, even then, they are unable to get it right. For the first time in years, I listened to a good friend rave about having found a company which did the best eyecare and glasses she'd experienced in 40+ years - she first used a branch of Acuitis in Oxford, I went to the one in Exeter. What a difference. They are a family company and very clear about the customer experience they want people to have. They are so thorough, and warm, friendly, encouraging, and apart from the helpfulness of finding stock not on display (and there is a LOT to choose from), once they realise what suits you, they were so diligent in checking all prescription information, making dispensing notes, and measuring for the best fit - for the first time ever, I have walked away with two smashing pairs of glasses which were right first time - and with good prices. I think they are excellent and cannot urge people enough to try them; I certainly will not be looking to use anyone else next time. ...Have I sold them to you yet? I really hope so; I'm just so delighted to have found them.

Have worn glasses for 20 years & I travel from Leicester to Acuitis in Exeter for simply the best service & frame selection. Sophie makes you feel so comfortable throughout the eye testing and the whole team are just fantastic. I have never had so many compliments regarding my glasses. Luke is excellent at knowing what style will suit your face. What more can you ask for. If your looking for exceptional service book in with the Acuitis Exeter team.

I honestly can not recommend Acuitis enough! All staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Coming from someone who previously worked at another Opticians, it is a breath of fresh air seeing how wonderfully the shop is run and how much care the staff have for their job. These are good people, opened on the dot, staff ready immediately, very professional and highly technical assessment with no pressure to buy spectacles if you don;t really need them. THAT is a huge plus for those of us at an age when it might be easy to be pressurised into sales. A hearing test was offered but again not pressed so I can think of no criticism at all.!
