Rude staff members!!!Missed a call from a Stanhope, England telephone number. Checked online to see who it was and it was Uber Eats. I rang restaurant to explain I’d missed call and thought it may have been a cold call and the man said…Well, you should have answered the phone then. Next time answer the phone! He then said the address said room 6 and but I didn’t know that address. He then said Uber Eats system messes up some times, then continued to tell me I should have answered the phone. He was very rude to the point of shouting at me! I saidI wanted a refund and wanted to make a complaint.Another man came on the phone and shouted rudely down the phone saying the same things then hung up. I have been ordering my food from Spicy Aroma for so many years. NEVER EVR AGAIIN! Food. Has arrived but due to the terrible staff I didn’t want to give any stars! Appetite ruined!

Had a takeaway from here for the first time 2 weeks ago and was really looking forward to it as have been trying to find a nice local Indian.Well what can I say I wasn't impressed. When we rung up and ordered we asked how long it would be before the food would be ready for us to pick it up we were told it would be ready in an hour when we got they it was not ready as it was still being cooked and had to sit and wait.When getting it home nan breads were burnt and that's all you could taste burnt nan!!! And my food was bland and watery. Would never eat from here again.

ordeded meals on line simple. Delivered on time piping hot, 5 miles out in country at low cost. All parts of meals were well cookedA totally hassle free experiencefirst time we have had food from Spicy Aroma, EXCELLENT

Id give a 0 if it were possible.A few months ago, ordered food, waited 2 hours, couldnt get hold of them, went to the shop - CLOSED.Gave them another go tonight as Ive always had food food there... ordered at 6.30pm to be delivered at 8pm. Called the restaurant to ask where my food was at 8.10pm - said it was on its way. To receive a call and an email from Just Eat - CANCELLED.Never experienced such horrendous service from anywhere in my years.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.We ended up ordering from Three Mughals, Pye Corner - stunning. I suggest you order from there instead.

The food here is consistent, tasty, portions are generous and I really can't fault it - especially for the price. I've paid more for far less enjoyable food elsewhere. Staff are friendly and polite too, I gladly recommend them if you fancy a cheeky takeaway.

Banging food I'm from Birmingham so I know my food most places in newport area filling it up with Onions peppers and tomatoes less meat to make it look like it meant to be like but it notThe food was banging on point 190% going back

My wife and I have been going to Spicy for last 8 years and we wouldn’t chose to go anywhere else in Newport. Last night, I changed my order from my ‘usual’ to King Prawn Bombay and it was absolutely superb; brimming full of flavour and a generous quantity of King Prawns too. Highly recommended.
