Ark Build Plc

Well, how long have I got? Bought a new build (NEW BUILD) and Ark Build is who I contacted for any defects etc... To cut a long story short 4 years into living in this house and Ark Build have been back beyond 20 times through defect period etc and STILL to this day I'm having exactly the same leak problems that I had 4 years ago during defect period. I've basically had 3 néw showers and still I have EXACTLY the same problem as first reported.The last time I got a new shower frame as the sealant behind the frame (or none at all) was the issue I asked the Ark Build employee if he could make sure he sealed it no I never do that that's not meant to be sealed" so I spoke to the director in charge who said he's speak to him but came back with "I believe him and he's told me he never does that and that he does showers everyday and that trust him he'll get the job done properly"8 weeks later.......... Avoid if you're looking for a reliable builder who won't let you down at the last minute. We booked in Ray for structural work to our flat (under his other company, Easo Build Ltd) nearly a year ago to start work in April/May time this year as we were impressed with his affordable quote and knowledge. But after spending about 4 months constantly - and I mean constantly - chasing promised home visits, final quotes and an ever changing start date, he let us down by cancelling the job *two days* before he was due to start the work in July. He did this knowing from the start that we needed the work doing before we went away on honeymoon for a month at the end of August.We've been left with holes in our walls and an unstable chimney/roof that we now don't know if we'll be able to find a builder to fix before winter. Better to pay more if you want someone you can rely on.
