Really excellent haircut! Very clean bright and tidy inside, barbers all smartly dressed and prices clearly advertised. Did a really thorough job taking care to listen to what I was asking for, fade the sides, taper the back and take weight off the top. Used warm towels, special sprays ad good quality products that felt very luxuryWasn't rushed at all and he kept checking in to make sure I was happy, with student discount to top it all off. Highly recommend

Got a gift card off my wife for L1 style. Such a nice experience to have a fantastic cut and shave. Hot towel made me laugh a little but I enjoyed every minute of it.Highly recommend going to this place, nice and friendly and they put you at ease.

Asked for a fade on the back and sides with a line up using the straight razor on my beard. I've walked out of there with a fringe looking like a barcode and the rest of my head looking like a blind person has cut it with a knife and fork. Only bothered to shape my beard with the clippers and still managed to mess that up. Most definitely the worst hair cut of my life and my mum used to cut my hair with a pudding bowl

I emailed the barbers to complain before posting this but after 2 weeks with no response, it's time to leave my honest review.I went to this barber after reading positive reviews as I was fancying a change up from long hair. I asked the barber for an undercut with enough length on top to tie it back if needed (think Peaky Blinders with length for a topknot/bun) and a fade up to a 3 on the back and sides. There was even a gentleman next to me with a similar style who I pointed to for reference. What I got was an uneven shave on the back and sides with no fade which was too long to be a 3 and the top was not only cut shorter than I asked for but it was not level at the back and at the front there was a height difference of about an inch where the long met short hair on the left versus the right. The barber insisted that it was level. It took me repeatedly asking for a second opinion from a colleague and when I got it, his colleague agreed with me that it was not right.Long story short; my hair, which I had grown out for this cut was butchered. I have an uneven cut at the top and the sides, where a clipper was used, aren't even the same length. Avoid unless you just want your head shaved or a short back and sides you could do at home for free.

Asked for a fade to a 0.5 not too high and was left with literally just my fringe. While sitting down there was also two other people standing behind me watching the whole time which was pretty intimidating. Will never be returning again, may as well have asked for a 0 all over.

Worst barbershop I’ve ever been to, they barely listen to what you say, the haircut was horrible and when I mentioned it he tried to argue with me and say that it will look nice after making some extra touches. Terrible experience

I’ve been here twice. First time was fantastic, best haircut I’ve had. Took loads of time to ensure everything was in order.Second time was awful. Fella with the gold Diesel watch was spinning me around in the chair constantly, leaning into me, stank of cigarettes and every request I made felt like a massive inconvenience to him, and the fade was all over the place. Absolute rushed job. Won’t be returning.

Great service and skills. On a visit to Liverpool we were looking for a barber and we found this via Google. The barber was very professional; we just had a walk-in service with no appointment whosoever. I really recommend it.

Asked for a 1 taper, and was mistaken for a back and sides he asked if I wanted a little off the top I said yes, ended up with way too short on the sides and not very well blended, and not much of a fringe left at all after he slipped whilst in the middle of cutting it, and just randomly chose how much to take off the top without asking, clear language barrier and honestly think I could have done a better job to myself whilst blindfolded. I was meant to be going to meet my girlfriends university friends but feel like a disgrace and need to cover it up with a hat.

They burned my ear!!! Using a technique with an open flame, the guy held it too close/too long to my ear and burned it. He barely apologized afterwards. I had a wedding the next day and had to walk around with a burn wound on my ear. They even tried to charge me for the haircut but I refused due to the fact they burnt my flesh! Really awful experience and my ear is still sore 5 days later.
