Rushden Golf Range, and Rushden Footgolf

Visited the golf range the other week for some practice.I used one of the automatic teeing machines as it was fairly crowded (most courses closed due to the weather). the machine I was using constantly threw multiple balls out as a time and refused to adjust the tee to what was required.The feel of the place is that the equipment is old and needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to a reasonable specification.

Awful - needs a lots of love and investment. Mats are threadbare, many of the automated tee machines do not work properly, the spotlights hardly illuminate the range at night and the whole place looks tatty. Staff are friendly and polite but that cannot make up for the fact I feel I'm over paying for a third rate facility. I live in Rushden but now drive 10 miles to Kettering for a far better experience. Please show the place some love and give us local golfers a good option.

Nice little driving range. Friendly staff and easy to use facilities. Will be coming back for more soon.

Hmm. £7 for a bucket of balls is a bit steep for this place. Similar cost to Pytchley where you get to use trackman. None of the automatic tees work properly. Scruffy. The outside tees are ok.Could be a lot better.

Needs a bit of tlc to make it enjoyable. Footgolf Far too difficult.On the walk to the foot golf area, you had to be careful not to fall down a ditch. Lots of holes to twist ankles on.When we got to the course we were really excited but the foot balls never went in the tubs because they were too elevated. And every time you got close to the ball going into the tub and missed, the ball would roll 10ft away down the hill. Really frustrating. Not good for children under 12.With a bit of maintenance it could be something really special.

Took at trip here on Monday for my lads birthday...The walk down to the course is very over grown and full of whole which are in fact covered by over grown grass. I myself ended up falling and tristing my ankle (great start to a day that involves kicking a ball!!) If I was a proper 'karen' I'd be putting a claim in as I've a number of witnesses.The foot golf is very rammed all holes are close together, the tubs (holes) the balls drop into at bent out of shape and raised out of the wholes. Mesh covering the out of bounds areas are all tatty and we ended up hunt for balls 2 or 3 times (very neglected to say the least)And to finish it off, if you need a toilet your welcomed to a porter toilet outside which from the sign won't allow you to flush toilet paper?? But yet the bins where full inside. And the smell was rancid!Safe to say for the price paid we expected alot better facilities and a higher quality of foot golf. Now we under stand the lack of pictures of the place... shame really, we had hoped for a decent day.We won't be going back, and hope they take on board reviews and up their standards

Staff was really nice and helpful but the quality of the footgolf is very poor. All the holes are next to each other meaning you more than often have other groups balls interfering with your hole. The entire course is on a hill too meaning the ball is constantly rolling down if you don’t get it in. Also it advertises 24 holes but in reality it’s just the same 12 hole course twice. So there’s also miss-advertisement

No frills and cheap. Friendly staff. Several of the auto tee machines either don’t work or don’t work properly eg the balls don’t land in the tee or it fires another out before you’ve hit the first one. Kids love it but if you’re really into your golf ⛳️ I doubt this would be your first choice. Never too busy. Only 1 left handed bay so you may have to wait. We’ll come back again.
